End of May 2023 - Atlanta
Y/N woke up early in the morning although it was Saturday and she didn't need to go to work. It was 6:10 am and the sun was already rising outside so she could see the beautiful orange and pink of the morning sky. Susan was still lightly snoring next to her and y/n didn't want to wake her. The two girls had a movie night yesterday as Y/N felt lonely with Sebastian's absence. They facetimed as much as possible and texted as well and during the week it was easier than they thought. But the weekends were always hard. 

Y/N swung her feet gently from under the blanket to reach the floor and stood up. In that exact moment she regretted her decisions as she got dizzy immediately. She let herself fall down in the mattress again and waited for the world to stop spinning.

Thirty seconds later she tried again and succeeded this time. She put a smile on her face and left the bedroom on her tippy toes. "I need a coffee" was her first thought so she made her way into the kitchen. At the moment she could smell the leftovers of the Chinese take-away they had for dinner she became nauseous. She ran into the bathroom and needed to throw up.

After she waited sitting in front of the toilet to check if her body was done with throwing up she could hear a knock on the door.

"Y/N, is everything okay?" Susan asked concerned.

"Yeah, I'm all right. Seems like my body wasn't able to process the Chinese food we had yesterday!" she answered but at the moment she thought about the veggies noddles she had, her body was hit by another wave of nausea and she threw up again.

Susan entered the bathroom - y/n never locked it so that someone could enter in case of an emergency - sat behind y/n and gently rubbed over her back.

"You sure?" she asked.

"Yeah, but I don't know why. I have those noddles all the time when we order food there. It's weird!" y/n sighed.

A few minutes later they made their way into the living room where y/n collapsed on the couch. She was exhausted although she hadn't really done anything so far today. Susan prepared them two cups of coffee but y/n denied hers as she didn't want to throw up again.

Oatmeal was her choice of breakfast today as she thought it would be the best for her stomach. She prepared two bowls of oatmeal for her and Susan and they ate in union on the couch while watching television. Suddenly her phone buzzed and she looked on it to see that her boyfriend had texted her:

Sebastian
Good Morning, Sunshine.
I hope you are fine.
We're having a few meetings regarding a potential new project today so I won't be able to text you throughout the day.
What about FaceTime tonight before we head into bed?

It's alright!
