End of February 2023 - Atlanta
On New Year Sebastian and y/n went back to Atlanta just the way they had planned it. New Year's Eve was amazing and it seemed like all of Sebastian's friends really liked her. Although everybody wanted to know how Sebastian's accident had happened and how he was feeling this was not the main topic of the evening - what made Sebastian really happy.

All the tension of the past weeks fell off Sebastian's shoulders and he was able to be even more himself than he already was. Around his friends he was more self-confident, funnier and smarter than she had ever seen him before. And she fell in love with him all over again.

Sebastian's mum insisted to see his son before he left for Atlanta so she came for lunch on that day. Both knew that the next time they see each other would be in Bucharest when Georgeta came to visit her family while Sebastian was shooting over there.

On January 2nd Sebastian was finally able to go back to work and he was happy as hell - even though he was just able to do non-action scenes. It was also y/n's first day back in the hair and make-up trailer and so they left their apartment together at 7:15am with thermos mugs full of coffee in their hands.

It was the warmest welcome Sebastian could ever imagine as almost everybody gave him a hug and welcomed him back.

Most of them had seen Sebastian fall on the bollard and heard the updates on his well-being from Mackie or the Russos. That he was finally back on set made everyone happy - not just because their new time schedule was even harder than before. They had grown to an on-set-family over the last 12 years. A lot of the crew members were on set for Captain America movies since „The first Avenger"!

As soon as y/n entered the hair and make-up trailer she got an e-mail from Joe Russo who invited her to a meeting at 9:00am. The meeting was kind of a full-team-meeting what meant that the Russos planned to give to someone from each department as well as the whole cast an update how they would continue filming at that point. As Jennifer had the whole week PTO because she was still with her family, y/n would be the representative for hair and make-up.

Anthony and Joe Russo explained that because of Sebastian's accident they had extended Bucky's injury in the movie as well. That would give the actor more time to recover as Bucky was mostly on crutches (because of the still broken leg that didn't recover as fast as Bucky was used to) for the upcoming scenes. During the explanation of the two directors y/n finally understood how hard it must have been to change the movie plot so drastically. Kevin Feige had already told Sebastian that Bucky would also be in the upcoming movie 'Thunderbolts' - which plot will connect to the happenings in Cap4.

Thankfully Kevin Feige had planned that Bucky's role in the new movie was to help the other members of the Thunderbolts to find their peace within the new world. To find a purpose in life now that they were not villains anymore. So he was probably not an active fighter in the middle of the battlefield in that movie. That made it easy to give explanations for Bucky's decision to change his focus of work, now that Bucky was injured most of the time in Cap4.
