It was 6.30am when the alarm rang out. Harry looked across the room to see Jennifer packing a travel bag that was placed on the bottom of the bed. "Where is it today?" He asked groggily peering from beneath the duvet. Jennifer sighed looking at the sleepy green eyes that looked upon her. "Its Manchester today hun, I'll be back home tomorrow evening. I have a new client that needs me to go through some paper work and then we have a potential client that i need to meet tonight, we are going for food and drinks. I need this contract to hit my target this month, its important Harry."

Harry sighed and hid his head back beneath the soft warm quilt. "Is it more important than us?" He asked wishing he could quickly take the words back. He understood the importance but he couldn't help but feel the sickness in his stomach. "Harry you know i have to work, i want to be considered for the next promotion and that wont happen unless i give 100 percent."

Harry sat up and looked across the room. "I know, I'm sorry. Let me make you a coffee and breakfast before you leave yeah?" He walked downstairs to the kitchen turning on the kettle and getting the milk from the fridge. I think I'll make pancakes, he got the items out ready when he heard footsteps running down the stairs. "I gotta go baby, im gonna be late." He switched her coffee in to a travel mug and passed it over to her. I love you she shouted from the door and with that he was stood alone in the kitchen.

Niall- I'll pick you up at 6pm..

Harry - Perfect, going solo until tomorrow night, fancy a few beverages?

Niall- Hazza definitely, lets party!!!

Harry couldn't help but giggle at the text Niall had sent, they'd not been 'out out' together for well over a year and he was definitely in the mood to let his hair down and forget the last couple of months, at least for one night.

"Nick!" Niall shouted out as they walked in to the restaurant, the place was buzzing with people. "Niall come here and grab a drink from the bar." Nick shouted something over to the person serving and Niall walked over to order drinks. "Hi im Luke please to meet you, what can i get you?" "I'll have two beers please mate." "They're on the house." Luke said as Niall took his wallet out of his pocket to pay. "Even better," he laughed and handed Harry his drink. "Your round next" he winked, Harry rolled his eyes.

They found a table over by the window and sat down. "What's going on with you Harry? you're not your usual happy self." Harry looked up and sighed, "I'm good Niall, you know me always happy." Niall looked at him with a puzzled look. "Its Jen isn't it?" Harry nodded, "we can talk for ten minutes then i want to forget about it and enjoy our evening ok?" "Deal" Niall said before putting his drink down and focusing on Harry's face.

"I love jen with all my heart' but i just don't think she feels the same anymore. she works so hard and i understand that but it just all feels off. She away in Manchester tonight 'networking'" he said with a roll of his eyes. "You know I'm a romantic, im affectionate and a little needy at times i guess. Im getting nothing back no matter how much effort i make."

Niall looked upset for his best friend, he knew things had changed a little since Jen had got her job at the PR company but didn't realise just how bad it was. He hates to see Harry upset. "Right lets party mate, lets go back to out uni days for just one night, what do you say?" Harry looked up with a smile. "I love you Nialler." Niall laughed, "don't be getting all soppy with me now mate, you'll have me crying into my beer and im not waisting free beer." Harry smiled and raised his drink.. "Lets party"

After their third drink Nick came over to join them. "What do you think of the new place then guys?" "Its great mate, love what you've done with the place, so much bigger than the Cove." The cove was Nicks first restaurant, it was situated at the front of a large retail store and was a great location though as it got more popular the size was becoming a problem so he had to relocate.

"This is Harry my best mate." Harry stood up and shook Nicks hand. "Lovely place you have here." Nick gave him a large smile and looked around the room. "I can't quite believe I've landed myself this place, its perfect. We will be open for business Friday so you are more than welcome to come down and try the food." "The foods amazing" Niall loved his food. "You should bring Jen." Harry thought this was a great idea. "We'll be here." Harry smiled and went to the bar to get the next round in. "Shots!" Naill shouted. Harry looked over with nod and ordered three Sambuca 's, one for Niall, Nick and himself. He had a feeling tonight was going to get messy.

As Nick and Luke started to shut the restaurant Harry received a text stating that the taxi had arrived. "Its here he shouted out swaying slightly as he stood up from his seat." "Yay!"Niall shouted and told Nick and Luke that they would wait for them in the taxi.. Once in they asked the driver to take them into town where they would meet up with Luke's friends

The music was booming as they entered the club. Harry was now drunk and just wanted to dance, he headed straight to the dance floor whilst Niall and Nick went to the bar and luke went to look for his friends. Harry was loving life, he hadn't let his hair down like this for such a long time and the way he was feeling nothing was going to spoil his night. "Hazza!" Niall shouted as he brought two beers over to where Harry was dancing. "Cheers mate" Harry said whilst taking the drink from him, both now dancing terribly with not a care in the world. They were then joined by Nick, luke and his 2 friends Liam and Zayn. He introduced them and they all continued to dance as badly as they could gaining attention from others on the dance floor.

"We're going for food," Luke shouted over the music. "Great idea, we'll tag along" "Sounds good" Harry agreed, making their way out into the open air.
They all set off to the late night burger place that was a short walk away. When sat down with their burgers and chips they spoke about the night and how this should be a regular event. Zayn and Liam where staying with family for the weekend. They currently lived in doncaster but said they will definitely visit again soon.

"You best had" Harry said, he got on well with the two boys, they had chatted constantly since sitting in the burger place. Harry had found out that they had been dating since university. Zayn had a art studio back in Doncaster and liam was a chief working for a big chain in the centre of the town. They also mentioned they shared an apartment with their best friend Louis whom couldn't be here tonight due to work. He worked for a high street fashion store and they had been short staffed so couldn't get the time off.

When it was time to go home Harry drunkenly got up and hugged everyone before getting into his taxi to make his way home.
When Harry arrived home to an empty house he went to the kitchen, grabbed a bottle of water before heading to bed. He text Niall that he had arrived home and thanked him for the best night he'd had for what felt like forever.
