Chapter 15 🌻

"We're gonna be late." Harry was stood at Niall's front door.

Its been two weeks since Louis had stayed with Harry, they had messaged often, sometimes a little flirty.
Harry had still not approached the subject of the feelings towards what was now turning into a huge crush.
He knew he liked Louis, the time and distance that had been the last two weeks was enough for him to be positive that he had to let him know.

Louis had been struggling getting time off work so had asked for both Niall and himself to visit Doncaster. This was the perfect opportunity.

"Niall I will come up there and kick your arse if you don't hurry up."

"I'm here Niall shouted as he ran down the stairs and out the door. Stop stressing will you. We will get there in plenty of time."

The boys had booked a table for 6pm meaning Louis would meet us all there from work. We would go down with Zayn and Liam.

"You're such a stress-head Haz, we have two hours to get there. It's fine."
Truth be known Harry was excited and nervous and Niall new it.

"It's a shame Luke couldn't join us." Niall had kept in touch with Luke and new how he loved to visit home whenever he could. With the success of the new restaurant Nick couldn't allow him time off until they had a few more staff.

As they pulled up outside the apartment block they quickly located the correct door and called up on the intercom. "Hey it's Niall and some homeless guy I picked up on the way. Let us in."

The door opened and they ran up to the 2nd floor, they finally reached number 228 when the door opened.

"Come in" both Liam and Zayn greeted them with hugs.

"It's a lovely apartment" Niall said as he looked around the room.

The kitchen and living space in the same area separated by a breakfast bar. The living space huge with floor to ceiling windows that overlooked a mass off Greenland.

"I'll show you your rooms and the bathroom so you can freshing up" Liam gestured to the corridor.

"This is our room to the left here. Next to it is the bathroom which you can both use. To the right is Louis room and at the bottom of the corridor here, is your room for the next couple of days."

We walked in to the large guestroom. It lovely Harry said as he walked over to the large windows. "Thank you this is perfect."

"No problem at all" Zayn said with a smile, "treat the place as your own. Make yourselves comfortable, we will see you back in the living area when your ready"

They had around an hour before they had to set off so they unpacked and showered before making their way back to meet the boys whom where snuggled on the sofa watching some Netflix series neither Niall or Harry had heard of.

"You both look great, I'll book a taxi and then we can get going yeah?"

"Perfect" Harry replied, he was feeling a little nervous though he tried to hide it the best he could.

They arrived at the restaurant around 5.50pm so they decided to sit in the bar area and wait for their table to be ready.

When told their table was ready they took their drinks and sat looking through the menus. They had mentioned to the waiter there was one more person to arrive before they would be ready ordering.

"Hey guys," a very out of breath Louis arrived at the table. "The Dragon was working a late, I'm sure that bitch hates me." He laughed walking round to Harry and Niall with hugs.

"Anyway I'm here so let's order, I'm starving." The drinks were flowing and the conversation was as always loud. "Harry tell them your exciting news" Niall shouted across the table.

"Well erm yeah so, I have a buyer for my house. It's gonna take a few weeks but hopefully not too long."

"That's great news" all raised their glasses. Louis just kept his eyes on Harry across the table with a proud smile. "I'm so happy for you, so proud of you." "Cheers Lou"as Harry lifted his glass to reach Louis's. they both held eye contact. "Thank you Lou."

It had been a long day and both Louis and Liam had work the following day, "Let's get back and we can have an hour before I have to go to bed"

Once back home they all sat on the sofas and bean bags that where on the floor. "Right what's the plan for tomorrow guys?" Niall asked everyone. "Well I'm working but finish at lunch tomorrow" Louis said with a smile. It had took him lots of graft to get a half day off but it was totally worth it.

"Liam's working tomorrow and I'm in the studio but not until later."

"Perfect so I'm gonna sleep in until at least 12 and I'll see you all tomorrow night" he laughed out. "Right I'm off to bed, don't wake me when you come in" rubbing the top of Harry's head. Niall knew Harry would want some time with Louis on his own and Harry was thankful to his best friend.

When everyone had retired to their rooms Louis went into the kitchen and put the kettle on. "Cup of tea?" "Perfect Lou. I'm getting quite into having a brew at bedtime." "It's the best," Louis smiled.

They sat up a while drinking their tea and discussing what would happen when the house had finally gone.

" I think I'll need to move in with Niall for a while until I find something suitable. But if it takes a while to go through then maybe I'll find something in that time. It's just all up in the air at the moment."

"It will all work out, I have every confidence that it will Haz. Let's go to bed hey? We'll talk some more tomorrow."
Harry reached across and placed a kiss on Louis cheek. "night Lou" he said quietly before standing and making his way to bed.
Louis was slightly shocked, Harry was already up and gone before he could process the small gesture.

Harry had kissed him, he was touching his cheek where is soft lips had not two minutes ago been.

How was he meant to sleep now? His crush, the guy he had never in a million years thought would think anything of him just kissed him.

He went to bed and pull out his phone.

Louis - You asleep? Xx

Harry - No, you ok? xx

Louis - can't sleep. Xx

Harry - You want me to come to your room for a bit? Xx

Louis - Yes please xx

Harry - see you in a sec xx

Louis put his phone on the bedside cabinet as Harry made his way through the door and over to the bed. "Your rooms lovely" he said looking at the fairy lights. "Thanks Haz, they make it cozy."

"Sorry I've got you up I just couldn't settle."
"That's okay,"  Harry was now sat on the edge of the bed next to Louis."You wanna talk about it?"
Louis looked up into the green eyes that shone above him. "Can you sleep in here tonight? "
"Of course I can Lou, budget up and let me in yeah."

They lay still, both on their backs looking up to the ceiling. Both nervous and both wanting to reach out.

"Look at me" Harry eventually broke the silence. Louis turned to face him, looking down at the sheet below not wanting to make eye contact.

"Look at me" Harry said has he lifted Louis chin with two fingers gently until they where looking at each other.

"Can I kiss you?"
