Then You Came Along (L.S)

Chapter 25🌻

"Lou, the vans here" Harry shouted from the bottom of the stairs.
The moving day had finally arrived. Liam and Zayn had arrived the night before, Niall had arrived that morning, all ready to help.

With two removal men assessing how best to place the furniture in the van, they started to carry out the boxes placing them on the drive ready to go in afterwards. "Do you think you'll fit all this stuff in the new house?" Niall shouted carrying a box labeled kitchen. "I hope so Ni, I've only kept what we need, though it does seem like we have far too much" "You'll have to have a yard sale for everything that you can't get in" Liam suggested whilst carrying yet another box out of the house.

They eventually got everything in the van. "Ready to go?" Louis asked as he held the taller one tightly. He new this would be difficult, this was Harry's family home. "I am Lou, I'm ready to start the rest of my life" kissing the top of the smaller boys head. "Let's go"

"Niall, please will you put the boxes in the right rooms. Why have you put the bedroom box in the kitchen?" Harry was slightly stressed at this point. He had spent ages labeling the boxes so it would be organised. "Sorry Harold" he replied cheekily.

"Have you heard anything yet Lou?" Louis was waiting for a call, he had been to an interview the day before. It was for a managers position at a department store in town. "Nothing yet Haz, maybe I wasn't successful" he sighed. "It would be their loss" holding the shorter boy in his arms, placing a kiss on his cheek.

"Right where's this going?" Zayn was carrying a sewing machine. The rest of the work room had already been set up a couple of days before. "Spare room please"

They all started to unpack the boxes. Zayn and Liam now in the kitchen, Louis in the bedroom and Niall and Harry in the living room. It went like clock work and they had finished in good time.

"I can't believe we managed to get everything in" Lou giggled. "Let's order pizza I'm starving"

As Louis was about to start placing the order his phone rang out. "I best take this" looking down at the withheld number. He made his way to the kitchen where it was quieter.

"I'll have pepperoni, I'll also have wedges and onion rings" Niall decided. The boys continued to write their orders ready for louis return.

When Louis eventually walked back in from the kitchen, all eyes on him waiting to hear if the call had been about the interview. "Well?" Harry asked as he walked over to the smaller boy. "Was it about the job?" Louis looked up to the green eyed boy. "I got the job Haz" Louis announced in disbelief. "I got it and I start Monday" The house now full of cheers and congratulations. "I'm so proud of you baby, I new you would be perfect for that job" Harry gushed.

"Let's get some food and we can have an early night" Harry whispered into Louis hear sending a shiver down the smaller boys spine. "Sounds like a plan" he agreed.

It had been a long day for everyone. All now sprawled out in the living room bellys nicely full after eating what was far too much pizza.
"We are going to make a move" Liam announced. They had arranged to stay at his parents that evening but would be setting off back home early the following day. "Me too" Niall said as he stood up from the sofa, "we will leave you boys to your new home"

"Thank you guys for today," Louis said whilst giving each of them a hug "you've been such a huge help and we are so grateful" "Anytime" Liam replied, "we love you"

Harry followed Louis back in to the living room. "We have the most amazing friends don't we Lou?" "We do love we're so lucky to have them"

I love you Lou.
