22. The travel: James Idea

What is the result of leaving a group of Griffyndor's, alone, on the beach?

Clue: Nothing good.

Clue number two: In the group, there are the marauders.

I hope you guessed, but the result of that curious vacation cost a grumpy Muggle his car, hormones reached catastrophic levels and Lupin, during that two-week period, forgot his lunar cycle.

As the narrator of this story, I will make it easy for you to read, skipping useless moments of James and Sirius playing with magic, or being amazed every five minutes at any Muggle item that crossed their sight.

Anyway, this will get off to a dizzying start.

Heads up, because the one thing that wasn't missing was good music (Thanks to the mini radio Lily gave Sirius for his birthday) (But as I've said on other occasions, that's another story I'm not going to tell in this one).

It started with a fuzzy idea, which occurred to James in the middle of a history of magic class, and proving his theory that, all his brilliant ideas occurred to him in the limbo between drowsiness and consciousness. He didn't hesitate to tell Sirius, who was also struggling to stay awake.

Summer was just around the corner, everyone was already seventeen, and they were eager to use their ID card with the age of majority.

"I dreamed, I was at an oasis" James whispered, confused and not paying attention to Professor Binns "Bro, I don't know if it was my imagination or what, but I remember it was amazing."

"Do you want to go to the beach for the vacations, the four of us?" Sirius asked back, with a yawn trapped on his lips, "I don't know if... Moony's a sucker for the idea, what with his... you know."

"Yeah, yeah, but in my dream, it wasn't just the four of us, there was Lily, Mary, Marlene" James enlisted "I think even Peter's girlfriend."

"Not a bad idea... If the girls are there, I'm sure we'll be up for more" Sirius concluded, receiving a kick from behind. Lupin motioned for him to be quiet, then turned to James and muttered in his friend's ear,

"Lupin really needs a vacation badly. The other day he hit me just because I accidentally (seriously, it was an accident) brushed his ass!"

"It's not my fault that you can't control your boyfriend when he's on his period...."

Although, as he finished saying this, Lily walked past him and punched him in the arm. Gesturing him to keep quiet as well.

"Looks like your girlfriend is on her period too, Potter"

With that friendly conversation between notebooks, the planning for the school trip began. As soon as they left, they assembled the chosen group. The girls agreed without hesitation and Lupin, who claimed to "hate" the sea, ended up agreeing, because he didn't want to be the only one who was bored out of his mind on vacation.

Now all that was left for them to do was to set their destination.

"Maybe I can get in touch with Arthur..." commented James "If I'm not mistaken, he and his wife and children are living in a house overlooking the sea. Besides, if I tell my parents we're staying with the Weasley's, I don't think they'll have a problem, right?"

It was decided. That last vacation was going to be out of this world.
