Eve's POV

After I get out of the shower, I dry off before putting the outfit on that Jasper picked out for me. The outfit fit my style perfectly. I loved it. As weird as it sounds, I am already so thankful for these guys. They may be crazy but in a way, they make me feel sane.

After putting my hair up into a messy bun and taking a few deep breaths, I walk out of the bathroom. I hear music coming from Jasper's room so I figured he is just in his room. With a soft sigh, I head downstairs and see Oliver and Maverick talking. They both look at me.

"How was your shower, beautiful?" Maverick asks.

"Relaxing. I definitely needed that." I reply with a smile.

"We are glad you had time to relax. When were you gunna tell us that you could sing?" Oliver asked.

My eyes widen and my cheeks turn red. "You all heard it?!"

"No. But Jasper heard it. He says you were amazing at singing." Maverick says while smiling.

"Uh... I don't usually sing in front of people. I actually get quite a bit nervous by it. And I am now a bit embarrassed that he heard it..." I reply.

"It's okay sweetheart. You know we will never judge you. But if Jasper says you have talent, that says something." Maverick smiles.

"Why do you say that?" I question.

"Because I also sing..." Jasper says. I look up at him, seeing he is at the top of the stairs. "And I play guitar and the drums. I also record covers and originals. But I never got the courage to release any of them."

I was honestly surprised. I just couldn't figure out why I was surprised. Jasper out of the three was the most likely to be into music but he just seemed too hard for it. And for him to not have the courage to release any of his recordings... it just seemed off.

"Come on Princess. I wanna show you. And if you sing for us, I'll sing for you." Jasper replies.

It takes me a bit to answer. I take a deep breath. "How about we sing together? A duet..."

"That sounds perfect. Do you have a song in mind?" He asks.

"Yea. I think I have the perfect one."

I get up from my spot and head upstairs making sure that Oliver and Maverick are following. We all end up walking into Jasper's room. I am in complete awe at his setup. Jasper moves another mic and a stool over into the corner where his other stuff is. He looks at me and smiles before pulling a pair of headphones out and sets them on my stool.

"Okay Princess. What is this perfect song you have in mind?" He asks.

"Rewrite the Stars from the Greatest Showman. I figured it would be a good start for us together." I say.

Jasper nods and starts setting up everything. My eyes glance around at all the equipment. I smile at the speakers and laptop near his stool. Maverick and Oliver are sitting on Jaspers bed and once I look at them, they smile and just nod. I nod back and take a seat on my stool and put the headphones on. Jasper puts his headphones on and sits down next to me. We adjust our mics. We were facing each other so we could feel the music and each other's voice.

The music starts playing just as Jasper starts singing.   (Play the music now)

"You know I want you
It's not a secret I try to hide
You know you want me
So don't keep saying our hands are tied
You claim it's not in the cards
And fate is pulling you miles away
And out of reach from me
But you're hearing my heart
So who can stop me if I decide it's on my destiny?"

His voice is absolutely amazing. I was absolutely blown away. It was so strong yet so smooth.

"What if we rewrite the stars?
Say you were made to be mine
Nothing could keep us apart
You'll be the one I was meant to find
It's up to you, and it's up to me
No one could say what we get to be
So why don't we rewrite the stars?
And maybe the world could be ours, tonight"

He is staring at me the whole time. His eyes never leaving mine. I couldn't help but smile even though I was extremely nervous. This will be the first time I sing in front of others.

"You think it's easy
You think I don't wanna run to you
But there are mountains
And there are doors that we can't walk through
I know you're wondering why
Because we're able to be just you and me within these walls
But when we go outside
You're gunna wake up and see that it was hopeless after all"

I look over at Maverick and Oliver and they have wide eyes. Were they not expecting this?

"No one can rewrite the stars
How can you say you'll be mine?
Everything keeps us apart
And I'm not the one you were meant to find
It's not up to you, it's not up to me
When everyone tells us what we can be
And how can we rewrite the stars?
Say that the world can be ours, tonight"

Oliver's POV

I watch her in complete awe. I've heard Jasper a lot. More than a lot actually. He even kinda annoys me at times. Not that he is a bad singer cuz that's not the case. But he always has bad timing with it sometimes. Like when I try sleeping.

But her. Her voice is incredible. She is now singing in perfect sync with Jasper. A perfect harmony.

I know Jasper has had a hard time when it comes to music. He doesn't open up about it unless it's to Maverick and me. But now... he has his perfect match. His perfect pitch, his perfect muse. I know that they will be able to open each other up when it comes to their music.

Maverick is just as surprise by her tho. I can see it. I can feel it. I know for a fact he is happy for Jasper finding someone to share this all with. They are definitely perfect. She is perfect for us and I will never be able to thank Maverick enough.

The song finally ends so Jasper stops recording and they take off their headphones. Eve's face is super red. Jasper looks like the happiest man in the world right now.

"Did you guys like it?" Eve asks as she bounces on her toes. I can tell she is nervous about asking us our opinion.

"Wow..." Maverick says. I have never once seen this man speechless. Granted yes... he said a single word but still. When it comes to Maverick, that is his speechless.

I get up from the bed and immediately hug Eve. My tight embrace isn't too tight but enough to give her reassurance.

"It was amazing..." I say quietly.
