Only Them

Part 9

Jasper's POV

I could barely even move. I just stare at Eve with adoration. Her voice is absolutely beautiful. I'm just hoping this won't be the last time I get to sing with her. I felt the deep connection between us. It's so early to even say this or think this but I think I'm in love with her.

She pulls away from Oliver and looks at me. She comes over and quickly hugs me.  I wrap my arms around her waist and nuzzle my head into the side of her neck.  I can feel her smile against me.

She softly speaks. "So, what did you think?  Did you like it?"

A smile spread across my face. "I loved it baby.  Maybe we can make this a regular thing?"

"I'd love to.  But we should get ready for the meet tonight."  She gently pulls away from the hug and smiles up at me.

"Alright baby.  You are right."  I look at the boys. "Are we taking our own cars or all going together?"

Maverick and Oliver look at each other before Maverick answers, "We can all take our own cars. Eve, do you wanna ride with one of us or do you want us to stop at your place so we can pick up your car?"

She looks at Maverick, "uh... we can stop by my place and pick up my car. Then maybe I could grab some more clothes?? I'd love to stay with you guys for a few days.....if you all are okay with that. If not, it's okay."

I smile down at her. "Baby, we would love for you to stay with us. Shit, if you want to fully move in, we would all love that."

"I... I'm not sure about fully moving in yet but I'd love to stay here a lot more. I love hanging out with all of you. You all are so sweet to me." She replies.

Maverick takes a step towards us. "Babygirl, that's our job."

She nods. "We should probably start heading out then."

I smile. "Who are you riding with to go to your place?"

She thinks for a bit before quietly answering, "uh, I'll ride with Oliver to my place, if that's okay."

Oliver smiles and reaches out for her hand. "I am definitely okay with that sweetheart."

She goes to take his hand and follows him out of the room. Maverick and I follow suit.

Oliver's POV

I bring her out to my car and open the passenger side door. Once she is in, I shut the door and jog over to the driver side and get in the driver seat. I drive a Chevrolet Camaro. I start up the car and it roars to life. Mavericks car and Jaspers car does the same. Maverick goes first, then me, then Jasper. Us just following each other.

I can feel eyes on me, I glance over at her and smile. She quickly looks down and blushes.

She finally speaks softly, "I wanna thank you again for letting me sleep in your bed. It was so comfortable and so warm."

"No problem at all, hun. You are welcome into my room at any time." I reply to her.

"That goes for you as well, if you ever want or need the company, my room at your house is open.  And if I'm not there, my house is always open to you as well." She says.

"I may have to take you up on that someday." I smile a bit.

There was a bit of silence until Maverick pulled over in front of a house. Jasper and I did the same.  That's when Maverick gets out of his car and comes over to the passenger side window of my car.  We roll the window down.

"Eve, were you expecting somebody at your house?"

"What? No. Who..." Eve looks over and she sighs.

Eve's POV

I can see who is knocking at my front door from here. My ex boyfriend. We dated for a couple months and I ended thing when he became aggressive with me.

Maverick and Oliver are now staring at me.

"It's my ex. He became aggressive with me and that's why I broke up with him. Let me try to get him to leave. Then I'll grab my clothes and my car and we can leave."

Maverick opens my door and I get out. As soon as the door closes, EJ turns to look at me and starts walking over.

Maverick stays by my side. Jasper and Oliver ended up getting out of their cars and start following us.

EJ doesn't look happy at all about me with 3 other guys. "Who are they?"

"It doesn't matter who they are, why are you here?" I say, no emotion on my face or in my voice.

"Because, I wanted to talk to you." He replied.

"Well, I have nothing to say to you. Now can you leave so I can pack up a few things and leave?"

"Not without talking to you first." EJ says. I knew he wasn't going to budge.

Maverick steps forward. "She told you to leave."

EJ looks at him. "I heard what she said, but what are you gunna do if I don't leave?"

Jasper speaks up. "Would you like to find out what we will do if you don't leave?"

"Oh, I'd love to." EJ smiles a wicked smile.

Maverick looks at Jasper and shakes his head.

"Look man, just get off her property." Maverick says.

"Then imma talk to Eve first." EJ steps forward and grabs my arm, that's when all hell breaks loose. Maverick punches EJ straight in the jaw which causes him to let go of my arm. EJ grunts in pain before swinging at Maverick. Mav dodges it. EJ goes to throw another punch and Oliver catches it and pins his arm behind his back.

Maverick speaks with venom. "If you EVER lay another fuckin finger on our woman, you will wish you were dead. Do I make myself fuckin clear?"

EJ nods before Oliver throws him to the ground. EJ gets up and runs to his car.

Jasper yells after him, "And don't ever come back!!"

I can't help but smile a bit at how protective they are of me. "Thank you guys so much!! I really appreciate it. I should probably go grab my stuff real quick. I have a bag packed just in case of emergencies so, I will just grab that and I'll be in my car."

Maverick smiles as he looks down at me. "Okay Babygirl. You will be following me. Oliver will let your car go in front of his."

I nod before quickly running into my house and grabbing my emergency bag that has a bunch of clothes. I quickly go down to my car and get in. I pull out of my garage and see the boys in their cars already. Maverick starts heading down the road and Oliver waits for me to follow. I do just that and follow Maverick. Oliver and Jasper follow me.

I just had a feeling that something else was going to happen tonight.
