Oliver's POV

I quietly enter Eve's room and see her cuddled up and crying.  She is holding a stuffed animal.  Soft sobs and whimpers can be heard coming from her.  I gently sit on the edge of her bed.

"Hey baby.  How are you feeling?" I softly say.

She looks at me and quickly moves to my lap.  She curls up against me and cuddles with her stuffed animal.  That is when it all clicked.  She is in little space.  All the yelling and the stress made her slip away into this.

"It's okay, little one.  It's all going to be okay." I softly say as I run my hands through her hair.

She nuzzles into me a bit more and my arms tighten around her protectively.

"C...can we watch a movie, Oli?" She softly asked.

"Of course, sweetie. Anything for you." I smile at her before shifting so I am laying down in her bed, with her still in my lap, cuddled up on top of me.  I turn on Netflix and start looking through the movies.

"Anything you would want to watch?" I ask her.

"Can we watch Scooby Doo?" She asks while looking at the TV.

"Of course baby." I reply while turning on Scooby Doo.  As the movie starts, she watches it intently.  Her breathing eventually gets softer and softer.  I could tell she was going to fall asleep and I was okay with that.  She needs rest after everything that happened.

In all reality, I don't agree with how everything was handled. Do I think Eve was in the wrong? Yes and no. But I know where her mindset is. She probably thinks we just wanted the attention. None of us stepped in to say anything. I feel like absolute shit for not saying anything to the woman that was hitting on us.

My eyes shift down to look at my Eve. She is sound asleep. When she wakes up, I know she is going to still be upset. Will she still be in little space? Probably not but everyone is different.

A soft knock could be heard at her door before it opens slowly. Jasper peeks his head in. He sees that she is asleep and makes his way over to the bed before laying down next to us.

His voice is soft so he doesn't wake her up, "how is she doing?"

I look down at her before looking back at him. "She slipped away into little space. We started watching Scooby Doo before she fell asleep."

He looks at me. "She has a little space?"

I nod in response. "The stress and Maverick's yelling must have pushed her over the edge.  How is he doing anyway?"

"To be honest, I don't care how he is doing.  We will see in the morning if she even still wants us.  But if she doesn't because of his mistake, I will be moving out and cutting contact with him completely."  Jasper said.

I nod, not really knowing what to say. I understand what he means tho. I get it.

"I love this woman, Oliver. I love her more than I have ever loved anyone or anything." Jasper says with a sigh. "Maverick said he can't lose her... But it's me that can't lose her. Oliver, the way I feel about her scares me. One of these days, I want to marry her. I want to have little kiddos. She is the one I want to wake up to everyday. The one I wanna grow old with."

"I know what you mean, Jasper. I feel the exact same way. Trust me..." I say while gently playing with her hair.  We are both just looking down at her.  She looked so peaceful other than her puffy eyes from crying.  I wish I could take all that pain away.

Jasper grabs a blanket and puts it over all of us. He gently cuddles up against her and I.  I could tell how upset he was about this whole situation.  I hated to see both him and her like this.  I can only imagine how Maverick is right now.
