"(Superhero name)? What do we do?" The female police chief stood beside me.
"Evacuate the nearby buildings and I'll take care of the rest," I sighed, knowing this would be the last time.

"Y/N, what happened? Am I dying?" I saw the only person alive who knew my identity, fading in front of me.
"You're going to be okay, BFF/N. Don't close your eyes," tears streamed down my face.
"It was a set up. He wanted..." Blood trickled down her chin. "He wants to know your true identity. She told everyone you were good and she will betray you. Beware the two in charge," she coughed and went still.
"BFF/N? No you can't leave me. NO!” a storm brewed overhead and went outside.
"Why did you do this?" The police chief and her deputy stepped forward.
"We wanted proof that you were evil and turn this city against you. You killed the innocent victims. Their blood is on your hands and we caught you," the deputy stepped closer, producing a pair of handcuffs.
"(Villain name) is already in custody. Just come willingly and we will be rewarded for both of your captures," he grinned and a bolt of lightning separated us. I cried and ran into the huge warehouse. I heard them yelling orders as I ran up the crumbling steps.
"You can't hide forever, Y/N," I heard a metal door slam and a metal bar caught me in the ribs. I climbed up and though some pipes and bars, until I reached a metal grate. I pushed it out of the way and the taunts from the officers who had once helped me had gone quiet. I stepped into the room and I saw the only exit.
I opened the door and felt the high winds rip though my hair as I ran up another staircase. I heard heavy footsteps behind me and I turned.
"No where to run now. Give up," officers lined any of the exits and I looked around.
"Too bad your parents were a little winded when they had you. All you can do is control storms," I nodded and grinned.
"You may catch me but not today," I jumped onto the railing and dodged a bullet.
"Don't shoot. We need her alive," someone screamed as the world tipped upside down and the street spiraled ever closer. I willed the clouds around me and the crowded street below got smaller. The stunned officers stared as I circled the building and shot towards the heart of the city.

(Villain name) POV
I looked around before I rolled and was slammed into the back of something. I groaned and tried to get up. I heard sirens in the distance and my eyes focused. I was on a scratchy, carpeted floor with something on my wrists and ankles. I tried to speak but there was tape on my mouth.
I managed to get on the seat and saw darkness and less buildings than I'm used to seeing. The driver swerved to avoid crashing and I held onto the door.
"Are you awake?" I went to nod but figured she wouldn't see that. I ripped the tape from my mouth.
   "Yes. What's going on?"
"I'll explain later. I apologize in advanced," the voice softened slightly and I recognized the voice.
"(Hero name)? I didn't think kidnapping was possible for you."
"I'm saving both our hides. Like I said, I'll explain later. For now, try to buckle up and get some sleep. Going to have to get gas in a few miles," I struggled to buckle the seatbelt then went to sleep.

"Wake up. For now, you are Kyle. I'm your sister, Bethany and we are visiting our parents in LA. We lived in Virginia for a while and our mom has a few months to live. Got it because if not, it will be bad for both of us," she helped with the ropes and we got out.
"Hey, Bethany?" I put an empathasis on her false name. "What are we getting here?"
"Food. Just grab whatever doesn't need to be refrigerated," she went for 2 liters and large bags of halfway healthy foods. I grabbed a box or two and followed her to the register. The bored employee rag up everything and she paid.
"Have I seen you before?" He asked and I bit my tongue.
"No, we haven't been here before."
"You look like someone on TV."
"I'm sorry sir but I'm not beautiful enough to get on TV."
"No, that hero in New York. You look like her."
"I'm told that a lot. We better go," we grabbed the bags and left. When I turned again, the guy was grabbing the phone.
"Get everything in the car, I'll be back, I shoved the bags in her hand and went back inside.
"You never saw us. You didn't recognize us. You will not call the police. You will close the shop early and take a vacation," I walked out as the man repeated it slowly.
"What did you do to him?" (Hero name) asked when I got in the front seat.
"Something I hate doing. Go before I reverse it," she got back on the road.
"You can regret things," I rolled my eyes and she grabbed something from the bag.
"I don't like some of my powers. Mind control being one of them. Would you care to explain what happened?" She explained everything.
   "How did you find me?"
"I followed you after one of our battles. Figured I might as well know in case I needed to get police involved," she shrugged. "I had mapped out some of your safehouses too."
"They said they already had me in custody. Could have just meant they knew where I was too," she shook her head.
"Usually when they had some breakthrough, they don't lie. The fact they didn't actually have you bothers me. Unless they knew I would try to find you," a storm began above us and moved south. "That should buy us some time," she leaned back and her grip on the wheel released slightly.
"You should pull over. You haven't slept in a few days," she tried to shake her head but I pressed the brake. I pulled to the side of the road and she fell onto the seat.
I finally managed to get her in the passenger seat and started driving again.
