C/N is injured at football and you wait in hospital with him since he is your best friend.

"You ready for the game?"
"Kinda nervous. This team is hard to beat," C/N, being my crush and best guy friend, caught me before I got to my car.
"You guys will beat them like last year."

After halftime
I watched the game in anxious anticipation, watching (#) the whole time. The play almost ran in slow motion, a defensive player ran directly for C/N and knocked him to the ground. BFF/N held me in my chair as the crowd booed around us.
"He's not getting up," everyone began to notice and the team gathered around.
"He'll be alright. I heard the ambulance and I ran down the bleachers towards the parking lot. The ambulance left and I heard the crowd cheering as if nothing had happened.
"Y/N, wait," someone grabbed my arm and pulled me back. "He will be okay. I'll take us over," she led me to her car and she drove after the ambulance.
"I'm sorry about your brother."
"He's got a tough skull. He'll make it out alright," we got to the emergency room and found his recovery room.
"He just needs to rest," we nodded and went into the room. His head was wrapped slightly and I sat down beside the bed. I watched the heart monitor as it beeped. Something moved over my hand.
"Are you ready to take me?" I looked down and C/N was squinting at me. "Am I dead?"
No, your going to recover," BFF/N stood on his other side.
"It must have hurt then when you fell," I frowned.
"You were the one who fell in the game," he shook his head slightly.
"From heaven. Didn't realize I would be talking to an angel," I blushed and I looked up. She smirked.
"Mom and Dad are on their way. They'll be pleased to know you'll make it."
"So I'm not going with the angel?"
"No, I'm afraid not," the doctor gave him pain medicine and C/N went to sleep. "Let's get you home, angel," I rolled my eyes at the name.

Few days later. (I'm no doc so it may be more time for recovery). BFF/N POV
"Morning BFF/N," I saw C/N sitting at the table.
"How are you feeling?"
"Good. Had a weird dream though. I woke up and saw an angel over me. Thought I was gone. You were there too, I think," I smiled.
"You'll see your angel soon enough," I ate and we went to school. "Hey angel," she waved and we sat down beside her. She glared at me quickly before turning to C/N.
"Glad to see you've recovered," he nodded.
"I think it's because of the angel of his dreams," I received a glare from both of them. "I should tell you who your angel is though."
"It's Y/N. I already know. I recognized her voice even then," Y/N blushed, opening her mouth to speak before closing it again.

After school, Y/N POV
C/N laid on the couch and gave BFF/N the last letter. I sat on the floor beside her and frowned.
"Good job C/N. I'm going to get some snacks. You guys can keep doing the game," C/N took the board and marker from his sister and wrote a few lines. Name of crush with 5 lines under.
"A," he wrote 'a' on the first line and my heart sank. "Annie," he shook his head. I frowned. "N," he place an 'n' in the second slot. I kept guessing letters until I needed the last letter. "A N G E. Do we have an Angel at school," I heard a slapping noise from the kitchen but I watched as he put the 'l' in the last space.
"Here is a three letter word that will tell you who it is," BFF/N walked in with a platter.
"Y O U. You're not very smart Y/N," she set the snacks on the coffee table and C/N wrote the letters. She left the room and C/N put the lid on the marker.
"She's right you know," he leaned closer and brushed his lips against mine.
"Great, now you've fried her brain," I pressed my lips to his before he pulled back.

This is a cute one shot. I hope you guys enjoyed it!
