Nothing! No answer at all... Where the fuck are you Lacey?! I panic, looking left and right several times rapidly. I spot a group of girls rushing over to me, so I turn and run to the nearest exit. As I run as fast as my legs would carry me, I glance back seeing more girls joining the mob of screaming girls. They're taking pictures and crying, they must think Luke is here. But he's not, so why are they running for me?! I find a fire door and shut it behind me. I took deep gasps of air as I couldn't breath from the sprint I had to take away from the mob. I was not going to be calling Luke to tell him, maybe I should call Calum... Maybe. I walk down three flights of stairs and finally rest on the bottom by another fire exit. At least I'm on the ground floor and can now run through the streets if I have to. I pull out my phone, and still my Twitter is going crazy. This situation is crazy. I dial Calum's number, hearing the tones blare from the speakers on my phone as I put him on loud speaker.
"Hello?"
"Hey Calum, it's Ana"
"Hey Ana, I'm glad you've called I have to tell you..."
"Wait" I cut him short, I needed him to know how much trouble I'm in. "Girls have mobbed me in the shopping centre, they think..... He's here.... What do I do?"
"Woah that is a bit of a mess. Do you want me to send some security to come and get you? Maybe they could bring you to mine and we can talk about it"
"Is-is Luke there..?" I ask in doubt.
"No he's gone off with Ash to get some shopping. Besides, you can help me decorate for tonight" he chuckled.
"Okay.. That's sounds nice. Can you tell security I'll be at the fire door behind the shopping centre?"
"Of course, they'll be there soon. See you"
The line goes dead. Well as long as Luke doesn't come back whilst I'm there then there's nothing to worry about. Is there?I get to Calum's house, where the party will be held, and where I see one of my best friends standing at the door. "Calum!" I shout as I run towards him, his arms out ready to stop me from falling over when I get to him. I fall into his arms with a massive smile on my face. It feels like forever since I've seen him. "Hey Ana" he says as he releases me from one of his massive Hood hugs. "I've missed you being around". I suddenly remember why I haven't been around. Luke. "Is her here?" I ask timidly in almost a whisper. "Nope, as I said he's out with Ash" he replies and I instantly relax releasing a deep breath I didn't realise I was holding while I waited for his reply. "Let's get started shall we?". He nods at me smiling. I didn't realise how pearly white his teeth were until now. We go inside his house and I start pinning up balloons he hands to me once he had blown them up and tied them. We put on the radio, and on the station we were listening to played old clubbing music, such as 21 seconds by So Solid Crew and rewind by Craig David. I love these songs! We start singing at each other and dancing around. Calum spins me around and drops me down in his arms as we giggle. And you'll never guess what happened?! The worst thing that could ever happen to me... Luke walked in and stopped, staring at us. I quickly got up, grabbed my bag and said to Calum I'd see him later as I walked past Luke through the front door. I couldn't stay in the same room as him. For a moment, I forgot about how badly I was feeling; how heartbroken I was. That was all thanks to Calum for helping me have a laugh. Now I think I'll just go back to Lacey's to get ready, I'm just hoping we have no more awkward encounters like that one. If I have to I'll just hide behind Lacey, Calum, Ash or Michael all night. Surely he can't make a big thing out of this at Calum's party... Can he?
I walk towards Lacey's front door and slide my key into the lock opening the door. I can already hear her singing to the music she's playing. I think it was a Jason Derulo song, I'm not sure. I walk towards her bedroom, and she turns round smiling at me. I fake a smile, so she doesn't get worried or I ruin her party mood. She pulls out my bag with all my makeup in. "Cmon get ready woman! We'll be late!" She screams at me over the top of the loud music. I can't even think in here. I stroll over to the bathroom, in which I lock myself in. I look at myself in the mirror. "Come on Analise, you've got this; you can't let a guy take over your life, you have to prove to him you don't need him" I say to myself. I brush my teeth and pin up my hair on top of my head so there is none in my face. I quickly cleanse my face, and put some foundation on. I then do my eye liner, small wings at the coroner of both eyes. I think they went quite well considering I was shaking due to being so nervous. I spread some mascara on my eye lashes, making them a lovely coal black, fanning them out to make my eye lashes look longer and emphasising my eyes. I dab some blush on the top of my cheeks, highlighting them to give them a glow and I put on some lip gloss, a nude sort of colour to match my black revealing dress. I pull down my hair, brushing it straight in order to put loose curls in the ends. As I do that I start to get into a party mood, completely forgetting the fact Luke will be there. I go into Lacey's room after my curls are perfected and put on my nude heels. She looks absolutely gorgeous. She has her hair up in a style that I can only describe as flawless. She has a gorgeous turquoise dress on, with white heels and a white clutch bag. Now that's my best friend. She turns around and gasps. "Wow, Ana you look good! Not that you don't always look nice but you look girly, almost like a princess" she said. I laugh at her, she's such an idiot. She never gets her words out properly. We lock all the front door as we leave for Calum's house. It's not too far, so we walk. We link arms and start singing together. We were singing irresistible by One Direction; probably because we feel we look good. I can't believe people still talk to us, we're so weird! But I love her. She's my best friend.
We get to Calum's road and all we can hear is loud music playing. I don't know how his neighbours haven't made complaints. We walk inside, and all we can see is many bodies moving around, dancing, drinking, laughing, having fun. We walk through to the kitchen to see if we can find Calum and to get a drink. We get some punch and Lacey disappears into the crowd with some guys and girls she knows. I stand there at this island in the middle of the kitchen. I watch people and see how happy they are. If only I was the same. All at once, something tore me from my thoughts. A tap on the shoulder.A/N~ as you guys know I don't update anymore, but here's your next fix of Always Him. I stopped writing as the person I started this story with is no longer around. We have fallen out. So it's just me and I'm going to make sure I finish this. I know the writing is terrible but this is my first book. Hope you guys appreciate it. T x
