Hello lovely people! I am super sorry that I have not updated yet. College is crazy and I literally have assignments after assignments. On the bright side, I get out in a week for summer! So, I will be finishing the book. BTW, this book is no where near finished :)
How are you guys enjoying it?
Anything you would like to see, or need improvement?
Thoughts on a sequel? (Probably too soon to ask because it isn't close to ending yet)
Also, once this book (and maybe the sequel) is completed, I'll be starting another story!
The story is about an wealthy African-American couple, named Melody and Vincent Lawson. Vincent is Neuro-surgical doctor, and Melody is a guidance counselor at a local high school (they're a very humble couple). Sadly, the Lawson are unable to have children of their own, Melody was unaware that she was pregnant and had miscarried. Once she lost her baby the doctors told Melody that she would never be able to have children again, because of the stress her body was in leading up to and after the miscarriage. This devastated her and she lost all hope, and slipped into a path of depression and extreme anxiety. Vincent loves his wife so much and would do anything to see his wife happy again. The one day she runs into an old friend and introduced her to her newly adopted children. This has always been a dream for Melody to have an multiracial family. She believes that every child should have a family. So she and Vincent decides to do it. It's a long and stressful process but Melody and Vincent has their eyes on the prize. Eventually, they are granted permission and have passed all the home exams, and now the Lawsons are now ready for adoption. The Lawsons are interested in adopting children anywhere from birth to 19. But, they'll soon find out that raising children who've already lost all hope, trust, and faith may be a little more than they bargained for. This is an Urban family oriented story about love, learning how to forgive, and keeping faith in the hardest of time.
I hope that into intrigues you to read! I wanted go to in a different path.
I'll see you all soon!!
