EMERALD POV

As I was driving hoome, all I could was think about what I had just said. I mean I love you? C'mon Emerald you know better than that. It's been like two months and you're already throwing around that shit like it's nothing. Now here comes the talk II was trying to avoid. I mean, when the time is right it should be said but I think I really fuckedd up. Now we wait.

After I got home, I took my shower, wassh my hair and started the process. I love being a curly girl, but DAMN. This takes forever.

It's him

My heart was pounding so fucking hard. I waned to pretend like I was asleep. But, I sucked it up and answered the phone.

"Hello?" I said nervously.

"Hey" he said just as nervously. "I just wanted to say" "Wait. I have something I need to say." I interupted. He and I began to talk to the same time, because I'm so stubborn I was determined to go first. 
"Emerald." He calmy said as I continued to go on "about last night" i started to say as I continously tried to push my topic first. "Emerald." He said a little more sternly. "I said something that I.." 

"GODDAMN IT EMERALD! SHUT THE HELL UP AND LET ME TALK." He vicously yelled at me while the sight of frustration consumed his eyes. While lust consumed mines. I tried not to let it show because this was a serious matter. But, I admit I was a little taken back at first, but damn. Ain't notthing better than a strng man who has no problem putting you in your place.    

"When I stepped out the plane with Evan, I caught a glimpse of you when Ehe headed towards y'all. You were so beautiul. Even though we were inside, some wnd trickled into the room, and danced around you before it slowly gazed you hair. Pushing the it from in front of your face. When your body shivered, so did my heart. I was so envious of that wind. Because, I wished it was me. First day of class, you were so shy it was unbearable. I watched you as you walked in and avoided looking at anyone. My eyes danced around you're body taking in every inch. Emerald, I know we did everyting out of order. But, my life has never felt so in order. I fucking love you too and I mean it from the pit of my heart. Now, turn around and say it back to me" I turned around only to see him standing outside my window on the balcony.     

I let him in and I tried to talk but my lips didn't move. The words ricocheted in my head. My mind was glue and every single words, every ounce of emotion stuck to the back of my head. I was in shock. The first time I thought he noticed me, was like the 4th, 5th time he noticed me. 

"Since your stuck on words, why don't you let me guide you?" Derrick smirked as he let in kissed me.  If i thought I was at a loss for words before now I was realy stuck. I just didn't question it anymore. I put my arms around his neck and deepend and then I felt weightless. He had lifted me up and laid me on bed. He caressed my hair as his lips went down to explore my body. I gladly let him roam, as I started to undress him, he did the same for me. His tonuge explored all over my body making me shiver and spass. I reached under my matress and pulled out some protection, he slid it on and then as he was about to enter. I flipped him over and  pinned his arms down maintaing my dominance. Then I started like a 5k. Slowly, then progressed into a sprint, until I was running with all my might. I even ran that ran backwards ;), until we both crossed the finish line. 

Afterwards, we cuddled as we talked about everything that happened during dinner. Eventually, he left. Once he was gone, I showered, did my hair routine and then sat in my bed and started on my french homework. Once I finsihed that, sleep was well over-do. 

The next morning I was awoken by Clover slobbering over my face.. "Clover!" I said wiping my face "I love you too baby." I stated while petting her back. I brushed my teeth then put on my sweatpants and proceeded to walk downstairs. When I got downstairs I saaw Evan, Derrick, and some new guy who's eyes seemed to linger on me a little longer than they should have. He looked biracial and had really pretty curly hair.

"Hey baby" Derrick said as he kissed my cheek. "Hey sweetheart, what you doing here?" I asked finna make a bowl of cereal. "Oh. Me and Evan are playing NBA 2K15 with Greg" Derrick said motioning his hand to the boy. "Ohh, well. Hi, Greg. I'm Emerald" I said extending my hand. "Nice to meet you Emerald." he said flashing a pearly white smile as his grey/green eyes lit up. "Wow!" I exclaimed "you have amazing eyes. Grey is one of my favorite colors." "Why Thank You. " he said.

I glimpse at Derrick who didn't look to particularly happy about this convo lol. So, I made an excuse to leave. "Welll, I 'm going to leave y'all to your little session. I'm going to go finish some homework." I said I as walked over to Derrick giving his a kiss before I proceeded back to omy room with my cereal. As I was walking away I heard Derrick say to Greg, "you better keep them eyes to yourself boy." Lol, I love my protective man.

Once the weekend was over I rode to school with Marble, Devin, and Amethyst. I feel like I'm slowly pulling Derrick away from Evan. I know Evan would never say anything to me about it. So, I'm gonna let the get they bromance back. "So, you know that Madison and Danielle are really close friends right?" (Danielle is Marcus's crazy ex and Madison is Derrick's. In case anybody forgot) Marble stated. "Yeah, man. ut, It ain't nothing I can't handle." I answered. "You damn skippy" Marble said "And if them bitches try and get funny and try to jump in this bitch then that's where we come in" Devin spat as Amethyst nodded in agreement giving Devin a highfive. I wonder if Thesty ever told Devin how she feels. 

School is gonna be killer today and I already know how this is gonna go.

A/N

Sorrry again for the late update! I'm starting my second semester in college and I've been working on getting books and shit. Then I got a sinus infection. Blahhhh. I like to  have kinda long chapters because nothing makes me more upset than to be reading a BOMB ass book and the chapters be short as hell. So, that's my goal. I think this chapter is a little shorter but I promise to next one will not be.
