Opening one of my coded fridges, a hand grabbed me from behind. I almost had a heart attack from the sudden touch until I looked over my shoulder and caught the glimpse of him, stroking his fingers in my hair. It was Adam.

As I turned back to him, his long hair, well styled in a bun, filled my nostrils with its scents and my body, untouched for so long, throbbed and tingled. Yet, I still struggled to escape from the exquisite torment of his visiting lips that first fluctuated around my cheekbones. His tangling fingers that settled at the small of my back made me hold unto him. The of the chilly, opened fridge kissed my back while he leaned closer to me.

His hand snaked front of the side of my arm to close the fridge's door. And as he leaned closer, I placed my back in the fridge with my gaze fixed on his. A little lower than mine. I felt a surge of affection. So strong that the feeling brought a lump in my throat.

"I... I need to get a drink." I excused myself. Pulling away from the thoughts for granting his wordless quest, already.

With an infectious smirk, Adam placed his hands into his dude pockets of his Grey skinny jeans.

Leaning his back to the wall, I saw Adam's eyes on me. He stood upright before winking; I dropped the can of coke on the kitchen table

"Don't follow me." I warned, going to my room to catch my breath.

I walked over the stairs, going upstairs with a racing heart. Adam raised his gaze while watching me leave. It's a good thing he didn't follow me. I looked around, strutting the door from behind.

I placed both hands on my head, thinking of what next to do. Why is he here? I couldn't figure out. There were beads of sweat hanging on my forehead, although I had just had a chilled drink in this air-conditioned room.

"This is so wrong!" I say this every time and just can't stop. It's such a shame that Adam is a friend of my daughter's boyfriend. "This isn't expected of me... Somidah asked me to go on with this. Who on earth does this?"

The door suddenly opened

"Took you long enough. What are you thinking?" Adam's baritone voice teased, and my heart sank. He was daring enough to turning the door lock with only both of us in my room. Adam's deep voice is likable and honest, but his actions... I don't think so.

I smiled at his daring attitude, and he grinned at me. Adam's hand crawled to my waist, putting little or no space between us.

"I was just about to change and meet you downstairs." I lied.

"I'll save you the stress." He muttered with seriousness in his eyes. "I figured you're shy around me and can't even share a kiss with me in your office so, I checked on you at home."

I shook my head, digesting his words with a nervous smile. "You don't need to."

"Your eyes say otherwise." Adam turned, snickered slightly, as he put his forehead to mine.

"That's not true... You came upstairs. Is there any problem?" I raised a brow, and my panicking eyes bravely studied his.

"Yeah, there is. The problem is... He said as he leaned in. If I kiss you, I won't be able to stop."

Our lips were so close I could have easily kissed them, but I chewed on my lower lips to get stamina. I felt his breath on my lips and closed my eyes, cherishing the moment. Adam leaned in closer than his lips find mine. He pressed the tip of his lips against mine, gently with care, mumbling at it like a piece of cake.
