Dreams or Nightmares

I woke up from my sleep. I feel surprizingly rested.
«God that was a nightmare...» i said, still yawning.

I looked around the room. My eyes were still quite not awake yet. Once i looked around the room again, i realized that i was not in a dream nor a nightmare.
«Oh no oh no, i'm still here...»

I started to panic. I was all alone. I had no idea how long i've been stuck here for. How long do i have to continue walking through these endless doors?
While i pushed my thoughts aside, my main priority was to get out of here. I stood up, looked at the door number.
«I'll make it out of here, i know i will.»

...

I just stood there. Looked at the door number. I wasn't ready to continue!
It's not cause i didn't feel like it.

I'm afraid.

Afraid of losing my life, my work, my family. I worked so hard to get here, yet it all got wasted in the end. Is life this cruel?
I have to escape an endless loop with the same rooms multiple times. God who knows if i'll end up dead?
I stared at the door number. I've already gotten this far. Is this supposed to be a sign to continue forward, or to let go?

I chose the first option. Continuing forward. As tears formed on my face, i grabbed the handle and decided to continue.

The first few rooms were going alright, nothing out of the ordinary. Picking up keys, unlocking doors, collecting loot. I reached door 60. An extraordinary place, that i've never seen before. It was raining, with fences around.
«This place...is so pleasant.» i mumbled.

I finally saw trees, grass, i haven't touch these for so long. I spent time looking around the place for a really long time. I didn't realize that time has quickly gone by. I still had my phone of course. I had no service though. After looking at the mesmerizing view of the place, i decided to continue.

There, i was greeted with a dark room. Knowing that i've met the entity before, i wouldn't have to be afraid. I waited for the usual "Psst."

I didn't hear it. The only thing i heard was a weird sound coming towards me. I quickly pulled out the flashlight i found a while ago, trying to find a closet to hide in. «There, a closet!» i said, while i hopped in as fast as i could.

I expected seeing a weird figure that would rush past me. This time it was green. I thought it was just me being tired, so once it was gone i hopped out of the closet.

I heard the sound coming back. Now i knew this wasnt the entity i saw last time. I hopped back in, waiting for the figure to rush past me again. It kept doing that two more times. «Do they like making me suffer?» i spoke, as i grabbed my flashlight and turned it on to the next room.

The lights were on again. Not bad for me since it's a relief i could see.
I looked at the door, noticing it was locked as other times. How many times i tried to look for the key, it wasn't there. I then decided to use the tool i found some time ago, and managed to lockpick the door. «Great it worked! I'm so proud of myself.» as i patted my shoulder.

The next few rooms were the same as usual, collecting loot, gold, and opening doors. I did have a little scare while i was opening one of the drawers. A spider bit my face while i was trying to collect loot. Lucky me...
Good news was i managed to find bandages, so i suppose that helped.

The lights flickered in the next room. Usually it would flicker a little bit. This time the lights flickered a lot. I already hopped in one of the closets as i've had the entity rush past me before. Nothing came once again. I hopped out of the closet and entered the next room.

I don't know where i ended up, but i started walking down the hallway. Unexpectedly my brain started to tell me to turn around, so i did. I repeatedly did that until i reached the next room. My head started to feel lighter after that incident. I looked back to see a green figure staring at me. They tossed me a paper, which the words only spelled out as:

H a l t .

What's that supposed to mean?
I decided to keep the paper, while i put it in my pockets. I looked back up to see that the entity was gone. I thought nothing of it as it didn't actually try to harm me.

The next room was filled with closets.
Though i couldn't get the weird noise out of my ears. It was like something was in the closet, waiting for me. Of course knowing me, i opened the closet that has a weird noise. It screamed at me. «AH!» i screamed back. In the process i closed my eyes, when i looked back up it was gone.

«They really love playing tricks with me don't they...» i said as i closed the closet.

I reached door 70. The lights were flickering, so i hopped into the closet waiting for the entity to rush past me.
Usually they wouldn't talk, but this time they did. «Come out of your hiding spot...we have a lot to discuss.» the entity said.

I shivered. Waiting for the entity to go away, i pulled myself out from the closet.
«So technically these entities can speak...» i mumbled as i walked to the next door.

I was already way too tired. I tried finding a couch or a bed to rest on. I had no luck.
The next door was a room filled with random doors. I entered one of the doors and saw a bed, «Oh how great! I can finally sleep...» i said, as i hopped on to the bed and drifted in a deep sleep.
