"Do we need more meats?" Lisa asked Jennie as she scanned other meats at the freezer.
"Don't you think the amount of meat we've put is toouch for the two of us?" Jennie reitarate as the almost half filled their cart with meat.
"No, let's put five more then let's shop for leaves and side dishes." Lisa shrugged and continue grabbing meat at the freezer.
Jennie suppressed a smile as she look at the doll faced lady being all jumpy because of meat.
"Cheeeeseee a lot of it please." Lisa pleaded like a baby wanting to put chocolates and candies in the cart.
Jennie was supposed to get only one bar of cheese but doubled it as soon as Lisa pleaded.
Lisa has this kind of charm that made Jennie do up to her bidding, and Jennie was not even complaining. The dolled face impeccable charm has its way to everyone's heart.
"I'll pay." Lisa said and quickly gave her card to the cashier before Jennie could've even grab her purse.
"You're making me feel bad, at least let me pay for something?" Jennie sulk as they are loading the meats in a cooler inside Lisa's car.
"You're my guest, and I wont let a girl like you pay for something I can afford. I invited you there, so it is my duty to pay. " Lisa said softly before loading up the cooler to the back of the raptor and guided the now smiley jennie at the shotgun seat.
Jennie couldn't help but remember her soon to be ex husband during their early dates, back in the time where the young man was too subtle about wanting to date her.
She shrug off the thoughts as she hears the driver side door opened.
"Just half an hour and we'll arrive there." Lisa announced before starting the engine.
The thirty minutes ride were silent, yet comfortable. Jennie felt comfort in Lisa's presence if that ain't weird, but she do find lisa a safe place to stay in from the first time they met.
It was as if Lisa's presence is the calm after the heavy storm. The sunshine that melts the iciness surrounding her world.
"We're here?" Jennie asked Lisa as she saw that they are in an elevated place full of green grasses and some trees. the place looks windy by the way the leaves dances.
"Almost. Let's drive a little more." Lisa smiled at her. Jennie's excitement is beyond compare. It was her first time, going to this place and camping... well she might've camped during her university days, but university camps are way different than 'real' camping trip. Although the camp was spontaneous, she felt as if it was planned way before. This never felt rushed, from the grocery they bought the materials Lisa has and the place.
She's loving this day, well, she's also loving Lisa's company and the adventure Lisa brought to her day. She was so used to planning her and her husband's date a week prior but ended up getting interrupted, but with Lisa it is as if she can impulsively say something and a moment later they're on it putting it to reality.
"Here we are. Stay here while I unload the grocery and the equipments we need." Lisa said but Jennie disagree
"C'mon let me help, I alread feel bad for not contributing for our foods." Jennie said and put on a cute sad face that made Lisa startle.
Before Jennie could've notice, Lisa diverted her gaze onto something and let Jennie help.
"This is a nice place." Jennie said as they finished setting up the tent. It was huge and fit for four people. It was very sturdy too addition to that Lisa did some hammer and nail action to make it stand firmly without getting blown by the wind.
