"Fancy seeing you here, Mr. Lee" Jennie said as she enter her office and saw a man she once loved.
"Jennie, come on. Go back to our home." The man said without an emotion, or probably a pissed off face as he thought this was just a misunderstanding and Jennie will eventually move back to their 'home'
Jennie scoffed as she put her things in the table and sit on her chair, "With due respect, this office is not for personal use. But I'll make an exception just to say this, I agreed on attending the counseling sessions. Now, if you're stalling the session by always neglecting to attend, expect an divorcement papers in your table by the end of the week. Whether you sign or not, I'll consider myself free from this cretinous marriage. Please don't reply and leave the office." Jennie said keeping her professionalism as they are, still, in an professional setting. It would be unethical to make a scene.
Shaun was about to protest but a ring came from his phone, probably an office call that he harshly stood up and went out of the office furiously.
Jennie just shake her head and start her work.
"So, I heard your hubby lovey came here." Rosé said as she enters Jennie's office with chips on her hand munching on it.
Jennie rolled her eyes and closed the last folder left for today. "I'm gonna slap you with this folder once I hear that cringey hubby-whatever."
"Oh c'mon lemme let you experience the cringe-fest me and Irene got before, everytime we hear that hideous call sign of yours." Rosé said and sat at the chair in Jennie's office.
"Why are you here? Don't you have work?" Jennie asked as she scanned the documents she needed to do.
"I'm on break. Besides I've finished my work yesterday. Jisoo came in our house with flowers and it motivates me to do everything." Rosé said dreamily as her eyes sparkle at the mention of Jisoo's name.
"Okay? Nothing new? She always brings flower for all of the Parks and Kims whenever there's a dinner whatever." Jennie said ignoring the sparkle in Rosé's eyes.
"Imma tell you something later. Which is why I'm here. Dinner date with Irene and I, okay? Won't take no. It's my treat. Byeeee" Rosé said dismissingly and went out of Jennie's office without hearing if the girl has something to say.
Jennie finds it odd, not that Rosé's love for dates with her and Irene is weird. But offering to pay for the whole dinner date is on another level, that girl must've something important to say.
From: Lisa Manoban (Marriage Counselor)
Your husband's secretary emailed me. I find it odd that you're not second motioning this appointment.
Jennie's peaceful afternoon snack was disturbed by Lisa's message. Not that Lisa is a disturbance herself, where in fact she loves messaging Lisa but without her husband and his secretary in the context.
To: Lisa Manoban (Marriage Counselor)
What? Appointment? I was not notified by anyone regarding that appointment though?
She replied truthfully that lead Lisa to think throughly whether asking Jennie—which is not on her job description.— to attend the appointment.
To: Jennie Kim
Would you attend or you want me to reject this appointment?
Lisa's mind won and personally—through text— asked Jennie whether to accept the appointment or not.
From: Jennie Kim
Text me the details, I'll free my sched. Let's get this over with.
