18| think that cupid's up to something
sunghoon heard retching noises near his ear, flinching, he turned around to see ryujin gagging before a smug look overtook her face when she realised that sunghoon's attention was on her now.
sunghoon rolled his eyes, "indigestion? noona you're getting old."
"god and i thought taehyun was bad about beomgyu. you're way worse. you look at him like he hung the stars in the sky."
huh. is that what everyone else thinks? i look differently at sunoo?
"he liked me apparently."
ryujin skated nearer to him, while keeping a watchful eye on the children who were shuffling about the ice. "apparently?"
sunghoon sighed, "i lost a part of my memory. i don't remember any part of him confessing to me but i think it happened."
sunghoon shook his head, "i'm straight or at least i think i am."
ryujin chuckled, "yah its always the most handsome men who are gay or at least anything other than straight. but have you never thought about a guy romantically?"
"never, or at least with all of the guys i know."
"even sunoo?"
sunghoon's eyes flicked up as his gaze wandered towards peach-haired boy who was fumbling around with mini humans. his heart thumped erratically.
ryujin noticed how a small fond smile adorned sunghoon's face as the boy's gaze remain fixated on sunoo. "i guess sunoo's an exception for you?"
sunghoon nodded slowly, acceptance seeping into his mind about his newfound quirk about his sexual orientation before the slight hope vanished as soon as it came. "he hates me though."
"hates you?" confusion apparent in ryujin's tone.
"i think i hurt him. badly. but i don't remember. i'm so sure he's only friends with me again because i don't remember anything."
"i don't think someone who hates you agree to even hang out with you."
"how do i know if i like him?"
ryujin smiled, "for me its when suddenly it just clicks like fitting the last puzzle piece. your life is incomplete without them and you want them to do even the most trivial of things with them."
"when will i get that moment?"
ryujin patted sunghoon's back reassuringly, "i don't know but you will surely able to tell when it does."
"thanks noona," sunghoon muttered gratefully.
"yah enough of this sappy talk. your boy looks like he's going to fall for the tenth time. save him the hospital bills and go lend him a hand ice prince."
sunghoon chuckled heartily, "i'm not the ice prince anymore. i quit the professional life already."
"oh please, the number of ahjummas that still come here for you are unmistakable. okay go," ryujin shooed him away.
sunoo doesn't look like he hates you sunghoon.
"you need some help?" sunoo's eyes fluttered up to sunghoon who stood perfectly balanced on blades.
