sunghoon had achieved small but nonetheless significant progress with recovering memories. though he doesn't understand what happened with sunoo. his memories around that week seemed to revolve extensively around narae, hyunwoo and junseo. sunoo hadn't appeared in these visions yet at all. yeonjun had reassured that it was normal to not immediately recollect certain things as those could have had the greatest impact on his emotions and mind. 

"yeonjun-ssi are you an alumni of seoul national university?" 

yeonjun hummed as he packed up his equipment. 

"are you the one giving a talk tomorrow at the hall of science?" 

yeonjun nodded, "did you sign up for it?" 

sunghoon's mouth parted in shock, "so you're the legendary senior that graduated with honours and the president's award?" 

yeonjun chuckled, "you make me seem like a god but yes i did." 

"my friend's been blabbing about some psych alumni coming back this entire week. i didn't think it'd be you." 

"i'll be walking around campus tomorrow. i might catch you around." 

"yeonjun-ssi is it too much if i asked you to drop by the business canteen around lunch tomorrow?" 

yeonjun laughed, "i'll try." 

 "yah jake shut up. you're going to see him later anyways," sunghoon groaned. 

today was the day yeonjun was holding the talk in the science hall. he hadn't told jake about yeonjun possibly coming by the canteen where they were at just in case yeonjun was too busy to show up. 

"i can't believe my eyes. that's yeonjun right. like choi yeonjun is headed towards us. is this real?" jake rubbed his eyes. 

sunghoon smiled as yeonjun waved at them before his eyes landed on something (someone) behind them. 

sunoo's eyes lit up in recognition when he saw the blue-haired man a couple of metres away. black hair suited him better though. sunoo ran and tossed his arms over yeonjun's shoulders, hugging him tightly. a few tears escaped yeonjun's eyes as he held the boy in his embrace. 

jay quietly sat down with the rest, who were equally confused at what was happening. 

"how does sunoo know yeonjun?" jake mumbled. 

sunoo cried in relief, "daniel hyung, i– how– are you okay? i haven't seen you since..." 

"my name's yeonjun now and let's talk outside after i say hi to someone shall we?" yeonjun whispered. 

"sure hyung," yeonjun walked up to where sunghoon and the rest were sitting. 

"i heard someone here was a big fan of me. i came to pay a visit," yeonjun chuckled. 

"yah introduce us," jake muttered excitedly to sunghoon. 

"this is jake, your biggest fanboy, heeseung, jay, jungwon and i'm pretty sure you already know sunoo." 

yeonjun placed a slice of cake infront of jake, "i couldn't get much but i hope you enjoy this." 

jake nodded like an excited puppy. 

"how do you know sunoo?" jake asked as he dug into the cake.

yeonjun froze slightly, his eyes locking with sunoo before he put a smile on his face.
