Megan's POV

*flashback*

"Meg. Meg. Megan! Don't worry! I'll be here forever. Through thick and thin. I promise." He said looking me straight in the eye. "I love you and would definitely want to, in time, spend the rest of my life with you. Would you do the gracious honor and be my wife?" He asked me getting down on one knee. I wrapped my hand around my mouth and let the happy tears fall.

"Yes Harry. I would love to be your wife. I love you so much." I said to him jumping in his arms. He slipped the diamond ring happily onto my finger knowing his proposal went well.

"I love you too Megan. Always and forever." He said before kissing my lips as passionately as he could.

*end flashback*

I was currently crying in a local park. I had ignored the constant calls and texts from Louis asking if I was okay. Because in reality, I wasn't.

My phone buzzed bringing me out of my pity party. Blair. I decided to answer to see if everything was alright.

"Hey blairrrrrrr," I said extending her name hoping she didn't catch up the fact that my voice sounded like I had been crying for hours.

"Megan! Come quick! Terrible news! Hospital on 4th street!!!" She cried obviously in years before hanging up on me completely. Anxiety and worry were thrown at me like a brick in the face. Was Julie alright?! Lord I hope so.

I'm lucky that the park I was in was only a block away from the hospital so I ran there. I got to the emergency door and found Blair crying in the office. Where was Julie?

"Blair?" I asked her shaking her shoulder lightly.

"Oh Megan!" She said just going into another round o hysterics. I just walked up to the desk and asked where my daughter was.

"Julie Styles?" I asked the lady.

"What relationship do you have to said child?" The snotty receptionist asked me.

"I'm her mother where is she?" I said angrily. I wasn't playing games. I was already in a bad enough mood.

"Down the hall room 6." She said not even looking at me just typing away on her computer like it was the most interesting thing in the world. I cautiously walked down the hall and found room 6. I walked in and my heart actually broke.

"Are you Ms. Tomlinson the mother of Julie here?" A doctor asked me looking right into my blue eyes.

"Yes and what is wrong with her? Is she okay?" I asked nervously not wanting the doctor to say what I already think he will.

"Actually she is not. I'm sorry to say she has been diagnosed with cancer and you are very lucky your best friend Blair brought her here when se did. Julie here has brain cancer and does not have long. She was also put into the make a wish foundation." He said to me carefully judging when I was going to fall apart. I took one more glance at my precious daughter before I knew. She was not okay. And that was when the crack that my heart made was audible and I dropped to the ground drowned in tears and my own sorrow.

Louis' POV

I feel terrible. Megan must be feeling so terrible now but Harry seems almost unfazed. Like he is trying to block out what actually happened. The incident happened yesterday and Meg won't answer any of my calls. I know she is alright though.

Today we were going to the hospital on 4th street to visit some of the kids on the cancer floor. I know it will break my heart to see innocent children cursed with such displeasure but the smiles that appear on their faces when we walk through the door is so heart warming. We all just go separately through the halls and visit them giving them hope.

"C'mon boys we have places to be. The hospital was expecting us 30 minutes ago. Where is Niall for gods sake?!" Liam said sternly obviously stressed. He always gets like this when we go to the hospitals.

"He's eating." I said simply. More like stuffing his face in his buffet on his plate.

"Zayn?" He asked me again.

"Looking in the mirror for the 20th time today and it's only 6:30 a.m." I said chuckling a little at the end.

"I'm here peopleeeeeeee!" Harry said jumping down the stairs rather... Disgracefully. Even though he broke my sisters heart numerous times, the cupcake was still my best friend.

"Where you been curly? Happen to bring Zaynie and Ni with you?" I asked knowing that those two will need a minimum 20 minutes to finish whatever they were doing.

"Doing the hair to perfection duh. And sorry lad, those two are on their way." He said patting my back. When the boys finally came down 10 mins later Liam was stressed but happy they decided to make their appearance. We got right into the car and drove literally down the block.

"Alright! Now that we are here finally, I can give you the formal agenda. Louis: level 5. Niall: level 1. Zayn: level 3. I'm on level 4. And Harry: you're on level 2. Now! Lets move!" Liam said very fatherly. I just nodded my hair and walked to the lift. Hopefully I won't shed too many tears today. I'm just glad my family and I are all in good health.

Harry's POV

We were already on level 2 so I had nowhere else to go than on my first row of children.

I saw many children with bandanas on their bald shaven heads but still looked insanely beautiful. Cancer is terrible. Little innocent kids are here in a hospital dying but using all the strength they have to live every second of their given day when they should be playing or in school.

I walked up to a door that was on the edge of the hallway and it was kind of hidden. The door said Julie. So I walked in to find an empty room besides a 2 year old laying on the bed with thousands of wires connected to her. Fighting for her life.

I walked over to her bed and sat on the edge taking her tiny hand in mine in the process.

"Hi princess what's your name?" I said kissing her forehead. For some reason, I felt connected to her like I was very protective of her yet I'm pretty sure I didn't know her.

"Julie." She said hoarsely. She had curly hair like mine but it was hung in waves. Our eyes were also oddly the same color. Maybe it was a coincidence, lots of people have curly hair and green eyes.

"Hi Julie! I'm Harry! I here you are part of the make a wish foundation is that true?" I said smiling. I love hearing children's wishes that they want before they die.

"Yeah!" She said excitedly but still fairly hoarse.

"So what did you wish for?" I asked her still grabbing onto her ice cold hands.

"I wished to meet my daddy." She said to me quietly. The look on her face just broke my heart. She had me wrapped around her finger from the second I walked in and I didn't like seeing her like this. Julie is so strong. I guess that her mom must be in heart wrenching pain at the moment. Trying to raise a child as a single mother is tough, but when that child has cancer, it just makes it 10 times harder. Who ever left her mom was a total dick. I mean seriously. He has a daughter with cancer. And who ever he is and wherever he is has no idea and is definitely not here visiting with her because I'm the only one here. If I ever get my hands on that jerk, well things won't be pretty. He hurt Julie. This girl seems so harmless. The countless wires sticking out of her fragile body just show her pain. I barely know this child, but I feel like

I've known her her whole life. And that just makes me worry even more.
