basically it's a fantasy au of coroika, where the gang are rebelling against a corrupt monarchy. Skull leads it. He dies, but gets revived (at the cost of his leg)
mask is a goddess of magic, life, and death sentenced to be a mortal for a while, aloha is the local thief king who is actually next in line for the throne when the nobility dies out, and army is a resident bard/tavern wench (sidenote im tired of people portraying army as a prude. let him have a healthy sex life damnit. just cause he's all formal doesnt mean this guy doesn't get bitches)
avi is the leader of a pack of werewolves, one of the many groups persecuted for existing by the nobility. Rider is a royal guard secretly working for the rebellion, Goggles is the kindhearted prince trying to bring reform but failing, and willing to step down for Aloha to rule, and Hachi is the court mage who is also on the side of the rebellion
