"hey lix." jisung sleepily answered the phone.

"hey ji, are you going clubbing with us tonight?" his best friend asked.

"no..don't feel like it." jisung tiredly responded.

"okay...get some rest, yeah? i love you."

"i love you too lix. bye bye." jisung responded as he hung up the phone.

he checked the time, three twenty five in the afternoon. he let out a disappointed sigh as he realized he'd slept through all of his lectures for the day. he grabbed a pack of cigarettes, placing one between his mouth and lighting it.

he stared lifelessly up at the ceiling, taking long inhales of the cigarette. memories of the night before flashed in his mind. he'd be a fool to be able to stop thinking of his gorgeous neighbor. and the fact that they got matching tattoos, despite being complete strangers.

he lifted his arm, unwrapping it and looking at the tattoo. he needed to put vaseline on it, but he didn't have any. perfect excuse to see minho again. he put his cigarette out, slipping on a grey sweater. he put on his slippers, leaving his apartment.

he had no idea if minho was even home, but it couldn't hurt to try. he knocked on his door, waiting for a minute before it was opened.

"oh, jisung? what's up?" minho asked, leaning against his door frame.

"i uh...i don't have any vaseline..i was wondering if you did..? and if you do i was wondering if i could borrow some..?" jisung stood awkwardly.

"yeah, not a problem. you can come in." minho opened the door wider, moving to the side.

jisung bowed, entering the apartment. he'd noticed the cat towers and cat toys everywhere. "you have a cat?" he asked.

"three." minho nodded. "soonie, doongie, and dori. they're around somewhere."

jisung nodded, continuing to look around.

"you can sit on the couch if you'd like, i'll go grab the vaseline." minho offered.

"thank you." jisung nodded, taking a seat.

minho grabbed the vaseline from his bathroom, taking a seat next to jisung.

"do you want any cream for that bruise?" minho asked as he looked at jisungs face.

"it's fine." jisung shook his head.

"okay." minho didn't know why, but he found himself pulling jisungs sleeve up, applying the vaseline to the tattoo. he noticed the scars littering jisungs arm, quickly focusing back on the tattoo to not upset him.

"thanks." jisung said shyly.

"no problem. do you want anything to eat or drink?" minho asked.

"uhhh...sure.." jisung nodded.

"sorry i just- it gets lonely, you know?" minho sighed, worried he was making jisung uncomfortable.

"it's okay, i get it." jisung nodded with a soft smile.

"i'll go cook us something, you can watch tv or whatever if you'd like." minho offered.

"you know, you seem a lot less cold than you did last night." jisung chuckled.

"you just seem too soft to be cold to." minho shrugged.

"what does that mean?" jisung giggled.

"it means somehow, i can see myself in you." minho said softly, walking to his kitchen.

jisung blushed as he sat back on the couch. he was joined by a grey cat climbing onto the couch. he held out his finger, letting it know he was safe. it climbed onto his lap, a small smile appearing on jisungs face as he pet it.

"is ramen okay?" minho called from the kitchen.

"yeah, that's fine!" jisung called back.

"kk!"

jisung chuckled to himself, minhos cute. he just realized though that he knew nothing about him, other than he has three cats and lives next door to him. he didn't know his age nor did he know what he was doing with his life.

minho walked into the living room, handing jisung a bowl of ramen. he set his bowl on the coffee table, leaving to get them something to drink.

"is water okay?" minho asked.

"yeah." jisung nodded with a small smile.

"what?" minho asked, furrowing his brows.

"nothing, you're just cute." jisung chuckled.

"oh..okay." minho nodded as a blush appeared on his face.

he left to go get the water, coming back a couple minutes later and setting the two cups on his coffee table.

"so..how old are you?" jisung asked.

"twenty two, you?" minho responded.

"twenty." jisung responded. "is it okay to call you hyung?"

"yeah." minho nodded.

"okay hyung, what are doing with life?" jisung asked.

"trying to stay alive." minho shrugged.

"not what i meant. but me too." jisung chuckled.

"i'm a dance major, i'm going to open up my own dance studio when i graduate." minho smiled. "what about you?" he asked as he took a bite of his ramen.

"i major in music production, i want to be a producer. i also rap, sing, and dance." jisung responded.

"ouu, multi talented." minho nodded.

"oh shush." jisung giggled. he looked out the window as he heard the rain pattering against it. a smile made its way to his face.

"i assume you like the rain?" minho asked.

"i love the rain." jisung nodded with a soft smile.

"we have a lot more in common than i expected." minho said with a shy smile, just now taking notice that they were both wearing grey sweaters.
