"you ready my love?" minho asked as he held jisungs hand.

jisung was consumed by his nerves. he didn't want to see his parents today, but he had to. he had to lock them up. he couldn't let them manipulate the jury.

"no, but i have to get over it." jisung nodded.

"i'll be in the jury the whole time. don't worry my love." minho assured gently.

"thank you." jisung hugged minho tightly as jinwoo approached them.

"you've got this sung. you ready to go?" jinwoo spoke gently.

"ready as i'll ever be." jisung let out a shaky sigh.

"let's go." jinwoo whispered, the two following him into the courtroom.

minho took a seat in the front, keeping his eyes on jisung. jisung was visibly shaking as he made eye contact with his parents. you could see the horror in jisungs eyes as he took a seat at the witness stand.

"your honor, this is han jisung. he is a witness and a victim of han giseok and han shinsoo." jinwoo introduced.

"okay, han jisung. can you give your encounter with the defendants?" their lawyer spoke.

jisung looked into the jury, making eye contact with minho. i will be okay.

"uhm...yeah." jisung shakily spoke, playing with his fingers in an attempt to calm himself. "they always abused me...always. i don't remember a day of my life where i wasn't being beaten for no reason other than they felt like it." jisung began crying.

"when i was a freshman in high school i came out as gay to my parents. after i came out my parents began selling me. they would sell my body for money. giseok would send me a new address every day and i would have to show up or i'd be punished.

"no matter how much i cried, screamed, and begged, he sold me off to be raped by other powerful people." jisung tried to hold back his sobs.

"you mentioned you'd be punished, can you tell us what you mean by that?" their lawyer asked.

"i'd get beaten, starved, one time he locked me in the basement for a week. he'd come down to ask if i learned my lesson, and when i told him i wouldn't go, he'd beat me. giseok...tortured his own child." jisung sobbed out, desperately trying to calm down.

"do you have any evidence of this, any pictures of the bruises?" their lawyer turned to jinwoo.

"your honor." jinwoo looked at him.

"overruled, move on." the judge glared at their lawyer.

"how often would this abuse occur?"

"every fucking day. every day i would suffer. i hate them. i hate them both so fucking much! HOW FUCKING COULD YOU? IT ISN'T FAIR! HOW COULD YOU?" jisung screamed as he walked towards his parents.

"jisung..." his mother spoke softly.

"NO!" he sobbed. "you did this to me. and i will never forgive you for ruining me."

"mr. han sit down!" their lawyer shouted.

"cmon sung." jinwoo gently led him back to the stand.

"it's not fair." jisung brokenly cried out. "han giseok tried to stab me last time i refused to go and be raped. how could a father let his own son be raped. how could a father treat his own child like he's nothing? i don't get it! help me understand! if it weren't for my boyfriend he would have stabbed me and none of this would be happening. he'd be walking free and i'd be dead."

"mr. han, you need to calm down." their lawyer sighed.

"calm down?" jisung scoffed. "you put yourself in my position and tell me to calm down you fucking asshole. you are fucking heartless. after everything they did to me do you really think i want them to be free? do they deserve a happy life? do they deserve to walk free? after abusing and prostituting their own child, you tell me!"

"any more questions for him?" jinwoo glared at the lawyer.

"no, i think that's all." he sighed.

"we'll take a break and the jury will discuss whether han giseok and han shinsoo are guilty or innocent." the judge announced, dismissing the jury.

"ji." minho rushed up to him.

"min!" jisung sobbed into minhos chest as he pulled him close. "i hate them so much."

"we're still here." giseok scoffed.

"you shut the fuck up." minho glared at him.

"i hope the jury is on the same page as me, i don't want to see them walk free." the judge sighed.

"don't worry sung." minho kissed the top of his head. "i'm gonna take him to get some water."

minho gently led jisung out of the courtroom as jisung clung to him. everyone looked over as they heard the most heart-wracking sobs. jisung couldn't calm down no matter how hard he tried.

"come here, let's get you water."

"how could he do that to his own child?"

"they are not human."

"we can't let them get away with this."

"please stop talking in front of me." jisung weakly cried out. "i can't take any more. i just want them gone."

"drink this, come on love." minho spoke gently.

jisung grabbed the water bottle, taking slow sips. he handed it back to minho.

"here, match my breathing." minho spoke gently, resting jisungs head on his chest.

jisung closed his eyes, focusing on minhos breathing. he pulled away once he calmed down. "thank you." he whispered.

"always my love." minho placed a gentle kiss onto his cheek.

"everyone, let's go." jinwoo popped his head into the room.

the jury emptied out, going back into the courtroom.

"i'm here for you, no matter what." minho gently assured.
