"do you two want anything to drink?" sunghi smiled as the couple made their way into the kitchen.
"did you buy vodka?" minho asked as they took a seat at the table. "cause we gotta talk but i need vodka."
"min..i'd prefer to have that conversation when your sober and your boyfriend isn't here." sunghi sighed.
"why? why does it matter if jisung is here?" minho questioned.
"because i'd prefer privacy. it's nothing against jisung."
"i'll just wait for you upstairs. it's okay min." jisung chuckled, placing a kiss on top of minhos head.
"but..." minho trailed off, jisung stopping where he was. "i don't want you up there by yourself. what if you feel lonely?"
"min. this is a kind of conversation that i don't need to be a part of. you deserve privacy, honey." jisung spoke gently.
"okay..." minho nodded.
"i'll just be upstairs. i love you."
"i love you." minho replied, frowning as jisung walked up the stairs.
"hyeonggi get in here." sunghi called out.
"yeah?" he walked in, taking a seat across from minho.
"let it out min." sunghi spoke gently, joining her husband and her son at the table.
"i just...i needed you guys when i was a child. i'm grown up now. the way i see it is you couldn't be there for me growing up but now that i can take care of myself you're here?
"it's fucked up. i get it, you had the company. but you had me too! you had a kid when you weren't mature enough, that's not on me. you should've taken responsibility and taken care of me!" minho let out a sigh, sitting back as he finished talking.
"i understand, minho. and i'm so sorry honey. i agree, we should've taken responsibility and i'm so sorry we didn't." sunghi desperately held back tears.
"i'm also sorry. we shouldn't have put the company before you." hyeonggi added.
"i just...i wanted my parents to be there for me growing up. and it makes me not want to let you be here for me now that i'm an adult." minho shook his head. "but, i will. because i still love you guys. and i'm just glad you're here now."
"are you sure?" sunghi asked.
"what do you mean? of course i'm sure." minho was offended.
"i mean..are you sure you can just...move on? it clearly effected you a lot." sunghin had a frown prominent on her face.
"yes, i'm sure. you guys are here now and i don't want to take that for granted. i've always wanted a real relationship with my parents. i'm not going to let this opportunity slip out of my hands." minho nodded.
"i'm so sorry honey." sunghi got up, pulling her son into a hug.
"thank you for listening to me." minho whispered.
"i wasn't there in the past, but i'll always be here now. i promise." sunghi pressed a gentle kiss on top of her sons head.
"me too. from now on, we'll drop everything when you need us." hyeonggi got up, wrapping his arms around his son and his wife.
"i love you guys. we'll have a game night or something tomorrow, i'm gonna go back to jisung." minho smiled, standing up as his parents let him go.
"i'll plan something tonight. go, lover boy." sunghi chuckled as minho rushed out of the dining room and back up the stairs.
as soon as minho got to his room he began sobbing.
"come here my love." jisung pulled him into his arms.
minho sobbed in jisungs embrace. his legs gave out on him. he would've dropped to the ground if jisung didn't pick him up. jisung gently placed him on the bed, sitting next to him.
"are you okay min?" jisung asked gently.
"it just feels good to have let that off my chest." minho nodded.
"i'm glad you got to talk to them love." jisung pulled back, cupping minhos face. he wiped minhos tears. he placed a kiss on his left cheek. then his right cheek. then his nose. then his forehead. he gave a gentle smile as he left a gentle kiss on his lips.
"i love you." minho sniffled as he made eye contact with jisung.
"i love you." jisung smiled softly.
"how did i get so lucky?" minho chuckled.
"it's not luck, it's fate. you're my soulmate." jisung placed another kiss onto minhos forehead.
"jisung..." minho spoke lowly.
"yes my love?"
"i am so in love with you." minho breathed out.
"that's crazy because i am so in love with you." jisung smiled.
"let's get married one day. once we're financially stable enough, after college, let's get married." minho laid down, pulling jisung with him.
jisungs hands moved to play with minhos hair.
"let's get married one day." the smile never faded from jisungs face.
"you're the only one for me." minho pressed their foreheads together.
"that's because we're soulmates." jisung closed his eyes as they laid there.
"my heart aches for you even when we're together. it aches for your touch. i never knew i could need someone the way i need you. and i mean that in the softest way possible." minho spoke softly. "you consume me. every part of my heart and my brain may as well be yours the way you occupy them."
"i promise to be gentle with them." jisung pressed their lips together in a soft kiss.
minho adjusted their position so he was straddling jisungs lap. he leaned down, connecting their lips once again. his hands cupped jisungs cheeks as they made out. jisungs hands tangled in minhos hair. their breathing picked up as they kissed and minhos hands gently caressed jisungs face.
they made out for ten minutes before minho broke the kiss. he rested their foreheads against each other, panting as he looked into jisungs eyes.
"every time i think i couldn't be more in love, you make me fall deeper." minho whispered.
"i'll love you with every piece of me forever. i'm yours, lee minho." jisung responded.
"let's cuddle and watch movies." minho smiled as he sat up.
jisung laid there, a soft smile on his face as his hands rested on minhos thighs.
"okay my love."
they moved further onto the bed, jisung immediately opening his arms for minho as minho turned his tv on.
a/n: how are you doing my loves? tell me about your day! 🩷 i love you. i'm doing good!
