My life goes by, days blending together.
Creating a suffocating loop of loneliness and solitude.
I am drowning in my nothingness.
My existence nothing but a black hole.
Darkness, coldness is all I am.
Anyone who steps in immediately runs away.
Because who isn't afraid of the dark?
I was once afraid of it too
The unknown of it.
But once u give in, you can see it is quite beautiful and addictive.
Once u get a taste of that darkness, you're done searching for the light.
It is cold,
Ruthless yet comforting
Abusive but attractive.
I embraced it
I became it.
The darkness became my best and truest companion on lonely days.
Never leaves never hurts.
Not choking for air
For once i feel at home
In my head
It is quiet.
My best friend by my side.
