I sighed, slamming Klaus' car door shut. Man do I miss my car. Ugh.

"Stefan, Destiny, welcome to Chicago." Klaus smirked at us both.

"What are we doing here?" Stefan asked, irritated, crossing his arms over his chest. Meanwhile I grinned brightly. Chicago was one of my favorite places in the world. I loved it.

"I know how much you loved it here. Bringing back memories of the good old ripper days?" Klaus asked, his smirk never straying.

"Blacked out most of them. A lot of blood. A lot of partying. The detail are all a blur." Stefan replied, completely unamused.

"Well, I love Chicago." I announced. Klaus glanced at me and gave me a small smile as if to say, 'see? At least someone is enjoying themselves.'

"Well, word was the ripper of Montgomery got lonely, so he escaped to the city for comfort. It was prohibition. Everything was off limits then, which made everything so much fun." Klaus explained. I sighed, eager to go and explore Chicago once again.

"Chicago was magical." Klaus added after a small silence.

"Yeah, well, I'll take your word for it. Like I said, I don't remember most of it." Stefan replied. I pouted at his behavior and he noticed immediately, shaking his head at my immaturity.

"Going to get down to buiesness then?" Klaus asked Stefan. I leaned against Klaus' car and tried to pretend I wasn't bored.

"Why are we still with you? We had our fun, your hybrids failed. Don't you want to move on?" Stefan eagerly tried to persuade him to let us go.

"We're going to see my favorite witch. If anyone can help us with our hybrid problem, it's her." Klaus explained. I stood up straight, hope filling my hazel eyes.

"Does that mean we are actually going to leave this spot finally?" I asked, fake gasping.

"Yes, Destiny, it means we are going to go to a bar." Klaus chuckled at my sarcastic attitude.

"Yay!" I yelled, jumping up and down.

"See Stefan, why can't you be as exited as your sister?" Klaus teased, gesturing to me.

"Because my sister is childish and immature." Stefan shot a glare at me, causing me to stop and look down, pouting.

I stood in an alley, leaning against the wall to a building, waiting for a meal when I heard a stumbling sound. Finally, I'm starving. I smirked, flashing towards the noise to see a man in a white shirt and some black jeans. His black hair was slicked back and his green eyes shone with fear.
