I stood in front of the window, twisting my ring around on my finger, contemplating whether or not to go through with my decision. I sighed, squeezing my eyes shut before whispering to myself.
"Let's get this over with." I muttered, setting my ring on the table beside me, feeling my skin boil. The sun burned against my skin as I spread my arms open, welcoming death. Suddenly a sweet sensation filled my body as I was pushed to the ground by Damon.
"What are you doing?!" He hissed at me.
"I'm getting it over with. I am going to die either way Damon." I snapped at him. He gave me a look before pushing me into a cellar, slamming the cell door closed.
"What is your plan?" I asked, clasping my hands around the cell bars.
"I'm going to find some way around this." Damon replied.
"Oh yeah. That cure that doesn't exist. Have fun with that." I rolled my eyes.
"I am going to speak with Bonnie right now." He replied. I scoffed at him.
"I was informed that she hated you so she probably won't help." I explained.
"I will not give up on you." Damon growled. I coughed, blood coming up with it. "Just rest." Damon demanded, running off.

I stood in the woods by myself, fear in my eyes as I took deep, rigid breaths.
"Who's out there?!" I screamed, trying to be brave, and failing. My heart sank as a voice replied.
"Destiny, it doesn't matter who I am. What matters is what I am." The voice sang from behind the trees. My sweat hung in dribbles on my forehead as I gasped out my confusion.
"W-what do you mean?" I asked, my voice shaking with fear. I heard a low, evil chuckle and saw a shadow behind the trees.
"So naive. You practically live with one of my kind and yet...you still have no idea." The voice teased me. My head dropped in frustration as I chewed nervously on the inside of my cheek.
