" You're mind is playing tricks on you my dear. "

Destiny's P.O.V

I sighed as I turned my car off and got out of it. Regret almost instantly forming, but it was too late to go back.

"Home sweet home." I muttered sarcastically. My high heels clacked against the pavement as I made my way to the door, before barging in. As I looked around I caught a glance of the picture across the room of me in 1864. My hair was in loose curls over my shoulders and my dress was a mixture of red and black swirls. Suddenly I was pinned up against the wall, a hand around my throat. Damon stood there, glaring his eyes at me.

"Damon?" I asked, my facial features softening before I began to smirk again. "Now, is that anyway to treat your little sister?" I joked, trying my best to ignore the lump in my throat.

"Des?" He asked, dropping his hand. Regret soon filling his eyes.

"The one and only." I smiled at him, not wanting to show how bad I wanted to wrap him in my embrace and never let go.

"How?" He questioned, shock etched into his features.

"Well, I died with Katherine's blood in my system." I explained rather bluntly.

"But, Katherine left. What are you talking about?" Damon argued creasing his eyebrows together.

"It was before that. She fed me her blood daily before she died, as she did with you and...Stefan. Then I died, the same night you and him turned." I explained almost cringing as I thought of Stefan.

"But, you grew old...married, had kids, and died." Damon muttered, more to himself than to me.

"Who told you that bullshit?" I asked before realization hit me. "Stefan?" I asked him, my voice cracking a little out of shock and sadness.

"Yeah, he said he'd checked up on you." He nodded. I felt tears form on the rims of my eyes.

"Well, he lied." I explained, holding back my tears with all the force I had. Just then Stefan walked through the front door.

"Damon! Who is this?" He asked, staring a hole in my back. I slowly turned around, forcing a smirk onto my face.

"Hello Stefan." I growled. He dropped everything he was holding and just stood there, staring at me in disbelief. "Now, Stefan, don't tell me you forgot who I was." I growled as I flashed over to him. I was right in front of him, breathing loudly while I tried to sound more menacing and less heart-broken.

"Destiny?" He asked, tears brimming in his eyes as well. I let out a fake sigh of relief.

"Thank God, I mean, not only was I your sister, but, I was also your second kill, right after our father of course." I faked a laugh.

"How are you alive?" He asked, a tear finally falling from the clouds he calls eyes.

"Oh, technically, I'm not." I replied, walking a circle around him so I could quickly wipe a tear that had fallen without being noticed.

"That's impossible." Stefan pointed out still very unsure of himself.

"No, Stefan, it's not. You see, Katherine had a soft spot for me as well, so she fed me her blood. You finished the job for her." I argued, every fiber of my being filled with anger.

"I-I..." Stefan tried to speak, but he was just speachless I guess.

"You killed our sister?" Damon spoke from behind me, his voice full of astonishment and anger.

"Damon-" Stefan tried to explain himself, but Damon didn't want any of it.

"No! Our baby sister Stefan. You just left her to die." Damon growled leaving the room in a fit of anger.

"What the hell is your problem?" Stefan growled, slamming me against the wall.

"You! You act like you are so righteous, feeding on bunnies and all that crap, truth is, you aren't as special as you think you are! You are an arrogant piece of rubish!" I screamed, turning his move on him. My anger quickly turned to sadness as I spoke again, "I hate you Stefan. I always will, and I promise I will make your life hell." I growled leaving him to himself and his thoughts.

The cold pavement felt good on my back as I laid in the road, waiting for a meal. After a minute or so I heard the rumble of a car approaching. I closed my eyes and waited for the car to stop. Once it did, and the car door slammed I could smell the human's blood coursing through her veins.

"Hey! Are you okay?!" The woman called, rushing over to me. Her high heels were loud as they hit the ground and her voice was soft and soothing.

"Do you need me to call an ambulance?" She asked, kneeling down in front of me. I quickly popped my eyes open and shook my head.

"No." I stated bluntly. She gave me a surprised look.

"Why are you in the middle of the road?" She asked in concern.

"I don't know how I got here." I replied softly. She nodded slowly and stood up, holding her hand out to me. I eyed it curiously.

"Come on, I'll give you a ride." She offered. I took her hand, smiling.

"I didn't mean here here. I meant in my life. How I got to this point." I explained, shaking my head. She smiled at me, her eyes shining with concern.

"Well, I can help with that too. I'm a therapist." She explained, shrugging her shoulders.

"Well, okay. How does this work?" I asked, walking back to her car with her.

"Well first my name is Julie. Yours?" She asked. I shook my head.

"No one." I replied calmly. She just nodded and asked a question.

"So, you obviously are angry at someone. Who is it?" She asked, pushing herself to sound concerned as we got in the car.

"My brother." I explained to her, anger filling me up as I called it my brother.

"Well, family is a different case than most others. The best thing to do is to talk to him. What did he do?" She asked me noticing the disgust on my face. I sighed and looked her in the eyes.

"I have to go. This wouldn't have worked anyway. Normally I'd just eat you, but I am tired. Stand still. Don't move. Don't scream. Know that I am very sorry." I sighed, compelling her. Then I brought my lips to her neck, biting down on her Carotid Artery. The crimson liquid slid down my throat like silk, giving off the same euphoric taste it does every time. Some of the blood dripped down my chin, my veins, and eyes made me look like a monster. I quickly pulled away, not wanting to kill her, but it was too late. Julie was dead. I let her drop to the ground, her body limp and her heart no longer beating.

"Oops." I frowned before shrugging, disappearing and leaving her dead body behind.
