" The monsters you run from you can see,

The monster I run from is me. "

I sighed, leaning on the wall as I waited for Rebekah to get caught up with the time. She was in the dressing room, trying on some clothes.

"There has to be more to this dress." Rebekah's voice erupted through the nearly empty store. I let out a small chuckle.

"Sorry Beks. There isn't." I smirked. I heard her sigh before she walked out of the dressing room. I turned and smirked, whistling at her.

"So women in the twenty-first century dress like prostitutes, then. You know, I got dirty looks for wearing trousers." She observed, gesturing to me in my black skinny jeans. I chuckled.

"You wore trousers, so women today could wear nothing." Klaus joked. I shook my head, anger and love still mixing together at the thought of him.

"And what is this music? It sounds like a cable car accident." She asked in disgust. I chuckled.

"It's dance music." Stefan responded.

"People dance to this?" She asked. I nodded.

"Tragedy, huh?" I smirked. She let out a small chuckle.

"Are we done?" Klaus asked, sounding irritable.

"And why are you so grumpy?" Rebekah asked him.

"I needed one thing from you for my witch to find out why my hybrids are dying, one thing. Your necklace. And you lost it." Klaus complained. Rebekah rolled her eyes.

"I didn't lose it. It's just been missing for 90 years." She dismissed, looking at Stefan. "So what do you think?"

"I like it." Stefan approved. Rebekah frowned at him, seeming dissatisfied. "What? I said I like it." He defended himself.

"I can always tell when you're lying, Stefan." Rebekah scoffed, going back into the changing room. I looked over at my brother.

"Ohhhh, busted." I teased with a smirk. He rolled his eyes at me as Klaus looked over at him as well.

"Nice one. Good work." He smirked sarcastically, causing me to smile at him, then frown, then smile again. God, feelings are so confusing.

"You're the one that pulled the dagger out of her." Stefan argued, looking slightly attacked.

"I heard that!" Rebekah called from the dressing room. Stefan looked around before speaking.

"Alright. I'm going to get some fresh air." Stefan announced, standing up. My head snapped up.

"Want me to join?" I asked, readying myself to get up.

"I'm sorry, love, but I am afraid I can't allow you to follow your brother around like a pup this entire trip." Klaus spoke up pouring a glass of champagne and handing it to me as Stefan exits the boutique. I stood up, taking  a sip of the champagne and walking around, browsing for some new clothes. "Come here, love." Klaus demanded. I obeyed and stood in front of him, my hand placed on my hip.

"You need something, because otherwise, I'm going to look for something else to wear." I snapped. He smirked, wrapping his arm around my waist and pulling me into his lap. My first thought was to jump up and run away, but for some reason I just couldn't bring myself to do it and instead I just got lost in his eyes. They were beautiful, though it was hard to tell what color they were since they constantly changed. Slowly he started leaning in closer and though my mind was screaming for me to stop him, something inside of me just couldn't do it and slowly his lips moved closer to mine until they were pressed against mine, moving in sync with mine, driving me insane. Suddenly he pulled away and looked into my eyes.
