"Chohae, I'm sorry for ignoring you back in the metro. I deeply apologize and I promise that I'll spend more time with you" she held her best friend's hand
"I also apologize Xinie" she hugged her.
In the streets, you could see two young ladies hugging each other. They didn't care about what the others thought about it.
They had to apologize.
After the hug, they continued walking to their destination while talking about the next activities they could do together.
Arrived at Xinxin's parent's house, both of them suddenly got some flashbacks of their times together back in the day.
It was the same old house they used to spend a lot of time inside.
They were now in front of the house. The youngest rang the doorbell while the oldest was the one in front of the door. It opened right after Chohae rang the doorbell.
Her parents were excited to meet their daughter and her best friend even if they just saw each other yesterday.
It was as if a year just passed for them.
They stayed in Xinxin's room and in the living room most of the time because her parents were busy working or doing something else.
"Dude"
"What happened?"
"He texted me"
"Who? Jisung?"
"Yes, it's suspicious"
"Did you tell him that you fangirl him"
"No way I would tell him. I won't take any risks and you know how lucky I am. I don't want him to think of me as a koreaboo or something like that"
"We're both lucky" the oldest added
"Yeah, but should I answer now or later?"
"Now, I'll help you don't worry"
They texted him together.
Chohae was the one holding the phone and replying while Xinxin was the one telling her what to send.
It was a team job.
It was also the same thing with the boys.
Jisung with the phone and Chenle telling him what to send.

The streets were illuminated by cars and lamps.
The roads weren't as occupied as they are in the day.
The sky was dark and you could see some stars and the moon.
Everyone was going home.
The weather wasn't as hot as it was before in the day, but the air was fresh.
A normal night weather.
The two best friends were heading back to their hotel.
Their trip to Shanghai was supposed to end in two weeks then they would come back to Hong Kong.
Since they came back to their hotel room late, they immediately went to their beds to sleep.

"Should I text her?" he kept on asking himself again until the took the right decision.
"It's very late. She's probably sleeping. I'll text her tomorrow morning" was his answer

The next morning, Chohae woke up before her best friend.
It was currently 8 in the morning. She was staring at the wall and spacing out until Jisung suddenly popped into her mind.
She then immediately took her phone and sent a good morning text to the one she secretly liked.
He's always been the one texting first which made her feel bad.
"Good morning Ji :)" was the text she sent him.
The sound of a notification woke him up since he was sleeping with his phone near him.
She waited a little bit, then she closed her phone to make her breakfast.
