That notification was the first thing she saw on her phone screen.
"Who could it be?" she asked herself as she clicked on the notification.
It was an account without a name and without a profile picture. It was also a private account like hers.
She decided to ignore it for now.
The two young ladies were doing whatever they wanted to do to pass the time.
Chohae was reading a book while Xinxin was on her phone watching random cat videos.
Both of them wanted to do something fun, but they were too lazy to move. They were going through boredom until one of them broke the major silence that was happening between them.
"You want to play something?" the one on her phone asked before she finally took a break from her electronic device.
"Sure, what about Monopoly?" the one reading replied as she also closed her book revealing her face with her glasses that made her look like a real nerd.
The oldest suddenly began to laugh because of her best friend's face.
"Dude, your glasses will never fail to make me laugh" she said in between her laughs as they started to get even harder.
"I already told you. It's my job to make you smile and laugh" the youngest jumped off her bed and looked for the game.
The winner would have the same reward as yesterday. They would be choosing the movie or the tv show that they would watch tonight.
Xinxin finally won a game.
It's been more than a week since she's been losing against her best friend Chohae.
"What time is it?" the extrovert asked since her phone was in her bed and she didn't want to move.
"6 pm"
"Damn, I'm sorry but I have to go. I have a date with someone" Chohae said as she took her bag, took her phone and smirked.
"You're going out in pyjamas?" Xinxin laughed
"I didn't even notice I was still in my pyjamas. Thank you for saving my life Xinie" they started laughing for the nth time of the day.
The one who was going out then got dressed properly into some casual clothes.
"See you soon bestie" she left her hotel room.
Jisung was waiting patiently for her in front of her hotel so she was running on the stairs to not make him wait too long.
"Hi Chocho" he smiled the moment he saw her outside
"Hi Ji"
"Are you ready to go to the movie theater? I can wait if you need time"
"No, no, don't worry. LET'S GO!"
They then started walking as soon as Chohae finished talking.
They walk together but without holding hands. As if nothing happened yesterday.
They also talked and laughed until they arrived at their destination: the movie theater.
Inside, it wasn't as full as it used to be, but it was also a great opportunity to spend time with the person they secretly liked.
The smell of delicious food and all the noise around them brought them memories of when they were young.
A big black screen was now in front of them. While they were watching their action movie, the youngest was focused on the movie while the tallest wasn't really paying that much attention to it.
He took some time to admire her beauty and came back to what he was watching as if he didn't do anything.
Chohae's heartbeat suddenly increased by the words she heard coming from Jisungs mouth while she was watching the movie.
He said three words in a very quiet voice and he thought he couldn't hear, but she could hear him. It wasn't the three words he said before. It was another sentence with three words.
She heard everything he said.
"Is he just flirting with me or does he mean it?" she kept on asking herself until she realized that she wasn't paying attention to the movie anymore.
Her attention went from a giant screen to words that she heard from someone whispering near her.
Three simple words.
Again three simple words meant a lot to her.
