Several months later, Chohae was finally at the end of her first semester and her boyfriend had an amazing comeback with his group's members. As for her best friend Xinxin, she was also doing well with her studies and her work.
The youngest still hasn't told her boyfriend about the news that she'll be coming back to Korea soon.
She would try to tell him by the end of the week because she was waiting for the perfect time to not bother him with anything.
Her university campus was very big and she indeed got lost once or twice, but she still managed to attend all of her classes at the right time, like a model student.
Back home, she immediately studied. She had two choices; Waste her time doing nothing and have a higher chance to fail her year or study and have a higher chance to go to her boyfriend's country.
The answer was obvious and it was what she did every single day after her classes.
The young woman's mind was suddenly blank. She couldn't focus anymore. She had to have a small conversation with her boyfriend right now.
She then decided to take her phone out of her school bag and call him.
She waited for him the answer the call. She waited and waited, until the call suddenly stopped to his voicemail. He didn't answer the first call, but he answered the second one.
Both of them had soft smiles on their faces as they heard their voices again. During the conversation, Chohae suddenly wanted to finally confess to her boyfriend about the news she kept secret from him for now months.
"Ji?"
"Yes, Chocho"
"I'll tell you something by the end of this week"
"Tell me what?" he asked
"It's a surprise hehe" she chuckled
"Okay, I'll wait then"
They couldn't see each other's smiles, since they were on a simple vocal call.
The young couple mostly texted and sent vocal messages. They called often, but not as much in video calls for many different reasons.
The call they just had didn't last very long until Chohae had to study again.
Her study session lasted at least two hours each day, but today she studied for four hours.
These days, she's been studying more than usual for an unknown reason.
She wanted to go back to Korea. She wanted to see her boyfriend again.
Those were her goals and she had to make them come true.
It was now 23:27 (10:27 pm) and she finally had free time.
Chohae didn't even think about what her best friend could actually be doing right now, so she immediately called her.
Xinxin quickly answered her call.
"You busy?" the youngest asked the second the oldest answered the call
"Not right now. We can talk" the oldest replied.
"That's good, now, hi Xinie Xinie" Chohae said with a completely different voice tone.
"Hi Chocho, how are you?" her best friend tried to mimic Chohae's weird voice.
"That was cringe, but I'm fine and you?"
"Same here bestie"
"You know I'm moving soon right?"
"Yeah"
"Come with me" the extroverted one proposed
"I can't right now. I have my work and I need to finish my studies here"
"That's true, then come to my place this summer"
"Sure, why not"
Both of them were already making plans even if it was just the beginning of a new year during the rest of the call.
