Arthur threw his feet on the table, and I immediately pushed them off. "So, Arthur, you are the little brother?" Antonio asked. I stood up from my seat, crossing my arms. Arthur looked like he had no respect for anyone at all. "Yeah, if you are wondering if I get any privileges, you are right," Arthur started.
"I haven't gotten expelled yet, just sent to the alternative building," he finished. Arthur began to look at his nails and pick at them. His accent was definitely posh, just like his brothers. His brothers are so different. How did he turn out like that? "What did you do to go to the alternative building?" Gilbert asked.
Arthur looked at him, annoyed, and rolled his eyes. "What's with all these questions? Aren't we supposed to be doing club activities?" Arthur spoke, changing the subject. "Oh, yeah! Francis, what will we do first?" Antonio asked. I lifted an eyebrow at him; why me?
"Why me?" I asked tiredly.
"I got it! All in favor of making Francis the president, say aye!" Gilbert cheered. "No! We are supposed to co-run this club! I don't want all the work!" I said, annoyed. Antonio and Gilbert began to laugh at me and shake their heads. "You will represent us! You got this!" Gilbert cheered.
"Jeez, I'm surrounded by idiots," I whispered.
"No, but really, what are we doing first?" Antonio asked.
"Well, we need to clean this room first, so that is the first," I explained. I smiled at everyone and began to roll up my sleeves. "Let's do our best!" Alfred cheered. He began to roll up his sleeves. He opened the supply closet and took out a broom. "I got the perfect song for motivation!" Alfred cheered.
He was about to play American music.
Kiku laughed at him as he shuffled in his bag to grab a speaker. Alfred placed it on the table and began connecting his phone. The music started to play, and he smiled "can I call you tonight, by Dayglow," Alfred smiled. He pulled Kiku up to his feet and handed him some cleaning supplies.
"Well? Let's clean up! Move your asses!" I demanded. I walked over to the supply closet and grabbed a feather duster. Antonio and Gilbert smiled, walking over and holding some wipes.
I looked at Arthur, who seemed miserable. "Come on! Get your ass up!" I spoke. I grabbed his arm, pulling him up. "Don't touch me!" He glared. "Yeah, yeah, come and help!" I spoke. "Fine, I'll help, but only because you will probably do it badly," he said. I handed him some wipes, and his face softened. Arthur pulled his bandana to his nose to cover himself from the dust.
I rolled my eyes at him and began clearing off some of the shelves. They were empty, and I knew they needed something. We could put some things in this place for sure.
We all began cleaning in our areas, moving past each other carefully. I would look over to Gilbert and Antonio, smacking dust out the window with the broom. Kiku was using a chair to clean the top shelves, and Alfred began moving a stand to clean behind it.
"Nothing will get done if you stand there," his voice spoke softly. Turning my head to the right, I saw Arthur staring at me. "Honestly, why are you so hostile? Now you want to sound less insulting," I spoke. He rolled his eyes at me and shrugged. "What? I was only poking fun. Besides— my brother told me about your ways; I wondered how long it would take to piss one of you off. However, that does not mean I am necessarily a nice person deep down; I like to pick on people," he smirked.
I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms. "And you call me an idiot? Why do I get the feeling that we aren't seeing eye to eye?"
"Because you are correct. Your existence screams, "I want attention," and I won't give you the satisfaction," he giggled. Although his giggle was cute, he pissed me off. "I don't need satisfaction from you, so don't worry," I explained. He tilted his head at me and leaned against the wall beside us.
"Are you gay?" He asked.
My eyes widened at what he said, and I froze. Did he ask me that? Was it that obvious? I thought I hid it well, I never told anyone, yet he asks that?
"What? Why would you—?"
"So you are, don't worry, your secret is safe with me," he smiled. I felt my face get hot, and I glared at him. This bitch!
"Our little secret," he smirked. He stuck his tongue out at me, and I looked at him with annoyance. "Why do you care? Is it because you are?" I asked. Arthur smiled at me and leaned his head closer. "If I was? How would you feel about that?" He asked.
WHAT THE HELL?
Usually, I was the type to be flirtatious, yet right now, he was running circles around me.
"I would feel sorry for you. Knowing you can't succeed in one gender group, but two is sad. I'm sure that if you were pansexual, it would be even more of a pathetic excuse," I laughed.
"Oh really? And who says I don't succeed?"
"Eh? No one needs to tell me; it's obvious."
"Obvious? Then, there goes my chance of taking your virginity."
He began to laugh as I looked at him, horrified. Arthur began to slap my back and shake his head. "I'm joking! You should have seen your face!" He laughed. I was livid. I glared at him and felt my face was hot. "As if I'd ever get that desperate," he laughed.
He pulled my hair and began to walk away from me. That idiot! Who the hell does he think he is?
I turned around and noticed everyone else trying to sneak a peek at what we could have been talking about.
I am surrounded by idiots.
