{Louis' POV}

I woke up to an empty bed. Where the hell was she? I stood up and called her cell phone. 2 seconds later I heard a buzzing. Great. She left her phone.

If I came home without her Gerard would kick my ass. But even worse than that, it would mean I left her alone. I can't leave her alone.

{Thorn's POV}

When I opened my eyes there were men hovering over me, a lamp over head. "Is it scared?" someone asked. I knew the voice. Jason? "Nah, boss. The things just taking it like a man." he chuckled. The rest of the men laughed with him. "Here's the deal, sweetheart. I'll happily let you live if you do a little something for me." His eyes were as cold as steel.

"Which is?" I asked. "Oh, not too big of a favor. I want you back in the business."

I spit on him, hitting him in the eye. "Come on, babe. You were the best at it. You never got caught, never even had a scare." he pressed. "Yeah, and how am I supposed to never get caught if I jump back in the circle? Eventually we'll get discovered, that's why I left it the first time, while I could." I argued.

"Save your fucking excuses, skank. You're my property, I'm taking back what I paid for. I tried to be less of a dick about it, but the decision is ultimately not your's to make." he snarled.

"I will never bow to you. I will never join your cause, I will never even contemplate it. I will die trying to get away from you. If you want to be burdened then go right ahead and keep me." I barked. Jason grabbed my hair in a fist and brought me closer. "Blindfold her and take her to the room." he ordered, smirking.

I started to have a panic attack as the men obscured my vision and carried me somewhere. When they reached their destination they sat me down and untied my hands and feet. I took the opportunity to punch one and bite the other. While they were both distracted with pain I reached into my pocket and grabbed the knife I knew I would need. I winced as I slid it across his vocal cords, then did the same to the other. I turned towards the door, about to run, when I see Jason standing there, smiling.

"Bravo, bravo. I can't say you weren't determined." He clapped, grinning like the mad man that he was. My bones turned to lead as I froze in place. I cleared my throat. "Shut up, asshole. You ruined my life. All of it so far. I've lived in fear of you and I won't take it. My life is finally going right and you're not going to take it away again." I growled. My voice was loud, my throat too strained to whisper.

He laughed and walked towards me. I pulled out my knife. When I looked back at him he had a pistol in his palm. "I don't wanna kill you, doll. Just comply. You'll be wanted here and treated right. Its not even me who wants you. Its The Boss." he whispered. My eyes widened. The Boss? I've heard of The Boss since age 10.

He was Jason's boss, who also had a boss.. and so on. If he wanted me in there was no way I could stay out. It was a lose-lose situation; if I stay I'll have to leave everything behind for a dangerous job that's not worth it, if I run they'll find me or even worse: pick off the people I love.

I started panicking, observing everything in the room. Can't get out through the door, and there's no other way out. Looks like it's plan b.

"What happens if I run?" I asked. "Even if you manage to get through my high security measures he would find you. Of course you could escape again until he decides to start playing twisted games on your life." he smirked. I slumped myself against the wall and calmed myself down.
