Mikes POV:
Something is definitely up. I walk closer to El. "We need to talk," El says. Oh shit. "Uh yeah, here?" I ask hoping I could have Will by my side, and Lucas. "No, alone." El states. "Oh alright," I stamper. We walk a little further and then El stops.
"Mike, I think it's time for us to break up. It's just not working great," El mutters. Without El..nevermind "Um El, what is making you think this?" I ask acting clueless, I knew it was about the fight before. "I already told you in our last conversation. We can stay friends if you'd like but we shouldn't be a couple." El states. YES FINALLY. "I understand. I hope we can stay friends," I reply. Well there goes my cover.
El walks back over to everyone else and I walk back over to Lucas and Will. Still kinda in shock. "Hey, so uh what happened?" Lucas asks. "Eleven and I broke up," I reply looking over to see Will's reaction. His face lights up but then says, "Oh i'm so sorry Mike.." Fake. Does he likes El or something? I mean they're like siblings but like does he? I hope not.
"I'm so sorry man," Lucas says. "Oh, it's fine," I lie. Jonathan and Nancy walk over. "Come on," Nancy says to us. All five of us walk back over to everyone else. El isn't here. She's probably with Max but it doesn't matter.
"We have almost everything planned out," Hopper states looking at a piece of paper. How did they plan this quickly? Wait. Has it been that long? Whatever.
I stare at Will for a bit as they all talk about what the plan is. I should really be paying attention but he's really pretty for a guy. Mesmerizing. How haven't I noticed? "That's where Mike, Will, and Lucas come in," Joyce says, that causes me to focus, hearing my name and Will's name.
