Taehyung was sitting on the steps that led to the backyard. He hugged his legs to his chest, looking at the view. His mind keeps on rewinding the scenes that had occurred two days back. He hadn't seen Jungkook since then. And to be honest, these days spent without him have been miserable for him.

Taehyung slept in the guestroom because he thought Jungkook needed some space to sort out his thoughts. He must have struck a nerve for him to behave that way. Seokjin had comforted him after that telling him that everything was alright and that he didn't do anything wrong. It's just a sensitive issue for him. But somehow, the brunette just couldn't believe him.

Jungkook and the guys left early this morning. He didn't even make eye contact with Taehyung let alone talk to him. It was Jimin who informed him that they were going for work, for their actual jobs. Jungkook had offered them pretty decent positions in his company.

Lisa knew everything that had gone wrong between Taehyung and Jungkook, and being the good friend she was, she offered to stay here for a few days and the brunette was more than thankful.

"What's got you so lost in thoughts?" Lisa sat down beside Taehyung giving him a hot cup of tea.

"Things." Taehyung shrugged.

"What things?" She furrowed her eyebrows and turned to face the brunette.

"You know Li? I just can't shake these thoughts out of my mind. I don't know, I just feel terrible. Do you think I crossed my limits? I'm just so confused." Taehyung sighed unable to put his thoughts into words.

"If it doesn't matter then get rid of it." Lisa spoke her words of wisdom. "And if you can't get rid of it then it matters."

The ravenette's face and the worry etched on his features flashed across the brunette's eyes and Taehyung felt his breath hitching.

"I guess, it does matter to me then." Taehyung gave her a small smile and looked at the flowers that had begun to blossom.

"Jungkook's lucky that he has you. I hope you know that."

Taehyung raised an eyebrow at the dark haired girl and waited for her to continue.

"He wasn't always like this, you know? He wasn't the person he is now. He used to be so much better. Happy." She began with a sigh, taking small sips from her cup.

"I don't know what fucked him up but one day Jinnie called me and told me how something had happened to his dad and brother. After their death, he was never the same. He was just seventeen for god's sake. How much could he take before reaching his breaking point?"

Lisa shuddered at the memory.

"It was such a hard time for him. For all the guys. They are his soulmates, they felt his pain, it was devastating. That's when everything started, the gang, him taking over his dad's business, moving to London from Bradford. Everything."

"Wait what? He had a brother? Two of his family members died?" Taehyung's eyes widened in shock. Lisa nodded in agreement with a sad smile.

"Even I don't know much about what actually happened back then. The guys refused to tell me any further details. But I guess, you need to wait Taehyungie. Wait for him to open up to you. I know that he will, eventually. Talking about his family opens up old wounds. He's hurting but time will heal him, I'm sure." Lisa passed a smile Taehyung's way and squeezed his shoulder in a comforting manner.

The door suddenly slammed open knocking Taehyung and Lisa out of their trance. Taehyung saw Jungkook rushing up the stairs. He didn't miss the blood on his knuckles. His hair was disheveled and he looked as if he didn't get enough sleep.
