Taehyung's eyes flew open wide as his whole body shook in fear. Just a nightmare. Nothing real, he reminded himself. He looked at the clock beside him to find that it was a little past midnight. His throat felt dry as he still tried to catch his ragged breath and the fast pace of his pulsating heart.

Taehyung sat up with his legs dangling to the side. He stood up and walked out of his room towards the kitchen in need of a glass of water. He walked carefully trying not to bump into something on his way that could create any type of noise, possibly waking the others up.

Taehyung switched on the kitchen lights and took a cold water bottle out of the fridge. He closed the door with a small sigh and turned around to walk back to his room, only to be stopped back dead in the tracks.

There, right in front of him, stood the man he loved, in all his glory.

Taehyung  couldn't help the butterflies that erupted and danced in his stomach by just the sight of the raven haired male. Jungkook seemed lost just like Taehyung. Even in the dim lights, he could see the the other's honey brown eyes glistening. His hair were a bit messy, and tiredness adorned his features. If Taehyung didn't know better, he'd say the other had probably been crying.

They stood there facing each other, neither of them knowing what to say or do. Taehyung could tell Jungkook wanted to come close to him by the way he took a hesitant step forward towards him.

The feeling of being near to Jungkook again made Taehyung tremble as his eyes began to fill with unwanted tears. He wasn't ready to see him, and certainly not now. The ravenette's expression softened with guilt on seeing the brunette's state and he slowly opened his arms for him to run into them.

Taehyung stood there frozen. Not sure if the hazel eyed male wanted him to do what he was hesitantly offering. As if to answer Taehyung's doubts, Jungkook took a small step closer with still open arms. The younger couldn't take it anymore, he needed the older to hold him. Not wasting another second, Taehyung threw himself into the other's arms clutching on his shirt as tears began to stain his cheeks.

Jungkook's arms were tightly holding Taehyung, it was almost like he was afraid to let him go. One of his hands left their hold and began to stroke his soft brown hair gently as he whispered sweet nothings into his ear.

After a few moments Taehyung's brain started to properly function and he remembered how Jungkook was the one to hurt him when he promised he wouldn't, how he left him right after he told him that he loved him. And now Jungkook was here after weeks with open arms and Taehyung gave in, again. Taehyung didn't want to do this anymore, he didn't want to get his heart broken again. He didn't think he'd be able to handle it again.

Sudden emotion of anger and betrayal took over Taehyung and he found himself wiggling out of the other's hold. Jungkook's face showed shock and confusion as the younger took a few steps back. Taehyung held his hand out to stop the raven haired when be began to move towards him.

"Taehyung, I'm sorry, just please—" Jungkook began trying to hold his hand.

"No! Don't come near me!" The brunette swatted his hand away from the other's grasp and tried to walk away but it was impossible since he was blocking the doorway.

"Just hear me out—"

"I don't wanna hear it!" Taehyung said trying to look into Jungkook's eyes to show anger and defiance but his blurry vision was not helping at all.

Taehyung's eyes were red and puffy, already aching from all the tears he shed and here he was, on the verge of crying again. He rubbed his eyes trying to soothe the pain.
