Please just take a deep breath and get it over with the first couple chapters...they're cringy and weird but it was my first attempt at writing and it sucked, but I can promise you, you won't regret reading this book once you're in a few chapters cause I've improved a lot and if you've read my other works, you'll know. Taehyung squinted his eyes open, the bright sunlight entering through the curtains forcing him to shrink his eyes into slits as he struggled to see. He groaned and turned to his side, not wanting to wake up. But a certain voice forced Taehyung to open his eyes again.

"It's your first day at your new job! Come on, wake up Tae. You're gonna be late", Taehyung's dad shouted from behind his bedroom door.

Taehyung let out a deep sigh as he remembered that he had to be on time today. He lazily rubbed his eyes and quickly made his way to the bathroom. After getting dressed, he walked to the kitchen where his dad was eating breakfast.

"You really wanna do that job kid?" Taehyung's dad, Eric, asked as he picked up an apple from the fruit basket.

"Yes dad." Taehyung whined,"I need some work experience, plus you never really let me do anything."

Taehyung's father was a rich businessman and according to him, Taehyung didn't need to work until he was of age. Taehyung's mom had died giving him birth and therefore, it had always been him and his dad. So obviously, Taehyung's dad was overprotective of his son and treated him like a prince. Although, he was hardly home but Taehyung didn't think he could complain since he knew he worked really hard for the both of them.

Taehyung had realised that he wanted to be his own person and accomplish his goals. And so he had gotten a part-time job at 'just brew it' cafe to gain some kind of experience, it didn't pay much but hey, it was a start right?

"Alright kid, just be safe." Eric sighed as Taehyung made his way towards the front door.

"Sure dad, Bye!" Taehyung said closing the door shut and made his way to the small cafe that was despondent among the huge city buildings.

Taehyung reached the cafe after a fifteen minute walk. Putting on his black apron, he went behind the counter.

"Hey, Tae!" Cathy exclaimed. Taehyung smiled and waved at her.

Cathy was a middle aged woman who, too, worked at the cafe as a waitress. She was extremely friendly and was like a mother to Taehyung. He had only known her for a few days but she had already grown on him so much.

The day was going normally. Taehyung served the customers their orders and took care of the cash counter. However, there were a few customers who just didn't know how to not stare at a boy. It took all of Taehyung's might to not punch the shit out of them because he didn't want to be sacked from the job on the very first day itself.

The cash machine was a bit difficult to use considering; every time Taehyung pressed a button, it did the exact opposite of what he wanted. He was still new to the process but he was improving gradually.

As Taehyung's shift was coming to an end, he began to rearrange some things and complete the chores that Mark, the owner of the cafe, had told him to do. It was taking a lot of time since Taehyung was the only one who was assigned to arrange all the cabinets.

After finishing, the brunette was making his way back when he slammed into something hard, that something hard being a person's chest. As Taehyung tried to balance himself, the person's hand went around his waist to steady him up and Taehyung couldn't help but to be intoxicated by the man's Cologne. God, he smelled good, Taehyung thought.
