I guess i had been staring in the mirror for a while because when Kay came up to me, she gave me the wierdest look that said uh, Flin? You there? I flinched coming out of my stiff position. The more i thought about the damage to my face, the more it ached. I let my mind wander and i walked at a steady, slowed pace. By the time i snapped back to reality, i was alone in the hallway.

"Kimmy!" i exclaimed as i entered the ragged, old dorm we share. "wah" she said, earphones still in her ears, eyes still locked to her computer screen. "you left me, Kimmy!" I said with slightly less anger in my voice. This time her big brown eyes fluttered towards mine. "i left you?" she questioned. "um, ya. A little" i replied with sass overcoming in my words. "are you deaf?" Kimmies eyebrows raised. "can you hear me right now? she said a bit louder. "oh my god. Kimmie." i rolled my eyes.

"Flinn, i told you twice i was going to the room after you wandered into Marie's empty dorm" those words struck me like lightning, i was so confused. "Kimmie, what the hell are you talking about? are you trying to trick me?" i questioned, my words flowing out of my mouth in a rapid pace. "whatever" Kimmies words trailed off as she put her earphones back into her ears.

Whatever? Kimmie NEVER leaves a conversation that hasnt ended. Something is wrong, something is absolutely wrong.
