Ayanna's P.O.V:
My mother took me to get Chinese food and dropped me off back at the house because she was going out, like she always does on Friday nights. After eating the majority of my orange chicken and rice(and picking the orange peels out of it), I plopped down on the couch, Wii remote in hand, to watch Netflix. Most of my time spent on there was looking for something to watch, like I always do on Friday nights.
"FMA.... Brotherhood.... Black Butler... Power Rangers Jungle Fury, S.P.D, and Mystic Force...Supernatural... Nope.. Don't know what to pick... " I thought aloud, tossing my Decepticon-decaled Wii remote to side and sighed heavily. I was starting to get restless. I took off my glasses and started wiping the lenses off with the bottom of my shirt. "I could get the freaking FullMetal Alchemist book out of my bag and finally start reading it after it's been there for a good... Two months." That comment alone made me groan in disgust. The book was literally with me at all times during school. When I thought about it, I actually would've been done the series by now!
After I got over the book situation, I decided to eat the rest of my orange chicken. Then my phone started ringing, Nikera's photo and number showing up on the screen. I waved my hand over the screen, it automatically being on speaker. "Herro?" I said, my mouth still somewhat full of rice. "Hey! Wait, are you eating?" she asked, a slight chuckle following soon after. I swallowed my food and cleared my throat. "Maybe...," I say. "What's up?" "Well, not much..." she said. I felt like she wasn't telling me something.
"... Are you thinking about the new guys again? Stefphan to be precise? " I asked teasingly. There was a short period of silence before Nikera answered again. ".....No.... Maybe....He just has an interesting taste in head wear!" she retorted, causing me to laugh. "Were you also thinking about them? Or maybe how you just kept bumping into Akiza? And the fact that he kept smiling at you~." she added. "What? No! Why would I be thinking about Akiza?! I mean, he hasn't been on my mind until now that is...but that doesn't mean anything!" I reply, my cheeks turning a faint shade of red. I put down my fork and smacked my forehead. "Okay, maybe the thought of him has crossed my mind once or twice.. I mean... he does, after all, have a nice smile.. Stefphan does too.. But his has more of a sense of innocence while Akiza's is...." my voice trailed off as I started to think of a word. Mischievous?
"Impish, maybe?" Nikera suggested. "Hm.." I uttered, still lost in thought. There was a slight knocking on the front door, but it was enough to bring me back to reality. "Hold on, someone's at the door.. Might be my grandmother... Possibly my mother.." I got up and walked to door and opened it. "Sure took you long enough..." I jumped a bit, taking a step back. "Eh!?" The fluent Japanese caught me off guard. That ruled out both my mother and grandmother.
I pulled down my shirt in the back, force of habit. "Akiza, what the heck are you doing here?!" I asked. The raven haired male only smirked and looked at me as he leaned against the frame of the door. "I live around here, and I was just taking a walk... That's all." he shrugged. I had an eyebrow raised in confusion, he only smiled, and that's when it hit me.
His smile is bewitching..
