The Ugly Side Of beauty

CHAPTER 1

She was fairly very young and a beautiful young lady. Merelda is a single mother with two kids who are aged 13-14. Most people would only wish to have her astonishing youth or they'll feel miserable their whole life without it. It was really intense and outstanding of how beautiful she was. That is until she discovered something she didn't want herself, or anyone else to know about...

NOAH-"Are you really considering that? Come on, man! You only have like 2 lives left, beat the guy!"

LIAM-"I'm trying, I swear! H-he's just too good. Argh..!"

MERELDA-"Please don't tell me you kids are still in that game.. It is literally 7 in the morning you crazy maniacs! Get off the game and start getting ready for school. I have an important day today, you know. I'm working late shifts and I'll be back only until 9pm-.. are you guys even listening?"

Liam and Noah both respond to their irritated mother as she rapidly tries to make toast for her two children, including herself as well.

NOAH"Y-yes, we'll be there in just a minute!"

LIAM"Yeah! What Noah said..!"

MERELDA-"Oh don't think I'm stupid boys! I didn't tell you to go anywhere, I just told you guys to get off the game and start getting ready! Do you realise how late it is right now? You boys aren't even dressed! Get a move on.."

Noah inattentively ignores his beloved mother only believing his ignorant self, thinking she would leave

MERELDA-'That's it!"

Merelda demands infuriatingly.

MERELDA-"I gave you boys too many chances, yet you foolish boys still don't listen to a word I say" She snaps as she unplugs the wire connected to her childrens playstation

LIAM-"No! Why, mum! We were in the middle of a tournament-"

MERELDA-"I honestly dont care at this point! Get ready, breakfast is on the table, dinner is in the microwave, lock the door behind you! I'll be home at 9."

Merelda aggressively barks as she closes the door shut, trusting her beloved kids that they will walk to school safely, on time

Even though Merelda's looks couldn't get her to places on time, she always tried to put everyone first to make sure they were on time too.Not only was she the queen of beauty, but kind hearted as well.Merelda slips into the car and buckles her seatbelt in immediately as she grips onto the steering wheel and swiftly drives her car, pushing down onto the engine risking herself of death or life situation by getting hit by a car from driving too fast...

Pantingly, Merelda enters her salon as she tries fixing herself up for last minute changes.

Breathlessly she enters the salon and declares,

MERELDA-"Sorry I'm late! My boys were being a bit annoying this morning. Mind you, I'll have to have a talk with them when I get back home!"

She walks over to her place and does one of her customers' hair. The customer only wanted just a trim on the end and layers to top it off.

Merelda's employee, Layla, chuckles and snorts at Merelda,

LAYLA-"Those children of yours might need to attend a boarding school with this kind of behaviour! My children go to one and dont I say, they are the most mannered kids you'll ever meet! Your so-called "kids" might need to go there, it'll teach them a thing or two..not just video games!"

Layla grinds at Merelda and continues cutting and styling her customers' hair. At this point Merelda was thoroughly disgruntled. She was stunned by how Layla was speaking to her this morning. Merelda kept silent in her place and finished off the look her customer wanted for her hair, by simply giving Layla a dirty look.
