10. When his bride invites you to their wedding : him as your ex boyfriend

"Deep breathings.. calm down! Breath in..breath out! You can do this! It's not a big deal! You can do this!" She tried to encourage herself for what's coming.

It's her big day. Lee Sorah is going to get married to the love of her life, Kim Taehyung in exactly 15 minutes. She's going to be Kim Sorah.

Was she nervous? No! She was petrified.

Why? Because she invited Taehyung's ex-girlfriend to their wedding. She invited you.

She knew how deep the love between Taehyung and you was. You two were inseparable. So desperately in love for God knows how long. And as deep as the love, as difficult it was for the both of you to hold onto that love.

It took one blow of cold wind, one push of a negative thought and one word from the other to break the red string of fate that joined him and you.

When Taehyung proposed to Sorah, she couldn't understand a thing. She's been infatuated with Taehyung for as long as she can remember. She fell in love with him when they were 10. They were childhood neighbours. Always living side by side but never talked to each other.

And then he grew up. And started dating you. You were the most beautiful girl Sorah has ever seen. Everything was perfect about you. Sorah couldn't find a flaw in your personality to hate you for stealing Taehyung away from her.

So she let you have him. One sided love is never joyous. It gives pain, insufferable pain that leaves you crying and gnawing at anything that could give you solace and also a different sort of content. Sorah's love for Taehyung was like that. Painful yet content.

Today she's marrying him. Starting a new life with him but she couldn't keep you out of her head. Maybe she's being selfish for inviting you. She didn't want to rub the fact that Taehyung chose her over you to your face. But she also didn't want to not include you. Her mind was twisted.

Taehyung didn't know about it. Sorah invited you on her own. She knew he wouldn't be happy about it. But once the arrow leaves the arch, it does not come back.

"Sorah, it's time to leave," her father told her. "Let's go" she smiled in the mirror and got up.

Walking down the aisle, wrapping her arm around her father's, was a dream come true. Of Course it's the dream of every girl. But for her it was special 'cause it was Kim Taehyung whom she was getting married to. Her Prince Charming!

Sorah wandered her eyes towards their guests. Then they stopped on you. She smiled at you. It was genuine. Saying - I'm happy you came. You smiled back. Her smile was a happy one, whereas yours was tinted with little sadness.

Then her gaze fell on Taehyung. Wrapped in black and white tux. Standing in all his glory. He was looking ethereal. Both kept looking at each other, their eyes never looking at anything else... like the world had stopped and they were the only two remaining.

Taehyung smiled looking at his beautiful soon-to-be wife. He pulled his arm out for her to hold on and stand in front of him. The moment she stood right in front of him both of their smiles widened. They were happy.

You watched them taking vows. Promising - for better, for worse...

The vows kept repeating in your head like a broken recorder. Somewhere in your mind, a piece of your heart whispered, it's what you dreamed of.

You had imagined this day with Taehyung so many times in the past. You shut that thought off and looked at them. You told your heart - whatever is happening, it is for the best. It's best for everyone. My love was true and beautiful, that's all I know...
