16. When you help him confess to his love || pjm

"Hey, will you be a good friend and help me out here? Suggest me some ideas on how I should propose to Yuri", Taehyung said, stepping on the brakes of his car at the signal. No response!!

"Are you even listening to me?" Taehyung looked at Jimin, and no reply was the answer to his question yet again. Instead, his eyes were stuck on something -or rather someone- on the other side of the road.

Taehyung followed Jimin's gaze which landed on a girl holding a huge bouquet of red-white Dahlias and crossing the road. While crossing a flower dropped and she laughed looking at her friend who was standing on the other side of the road. She didn't pick up the flower and crossed the road hastily as the signal was soon going to turn green and entered a cafe on their side.

"Jimin!" Taehyung shook him to get his attention. Jimin looked at him. "Who is she?" Taehyung questioned.

"Take the car from near that flower, I'll pick it up. And then stop it at that cafe," Jimin pointed at the cafe on the other side of the road, the same side where she and her friend were standing now.

Taehyung shook his head dejectedly and did as told. Jimin swiftly picked up the flower, and got out of the car after it was parked. Taehyung followed him silently.

"I believe this belongs to you," Jimin said holding the Dahlia, getting attention from both the girls. "Er... thank you." The girl said.

Jimin took his chances and peeked in to see a checklist that another girl was holding. From the look of it, it seemed to be that they both were organizing an event.

"Are you an event planner or something?" Jimin asked.

"Why?" The flower girl asked with full confidence.

"Don't get me wrong. I'm not stalker-ish, or hitting on you. My friend here.." he pulled Taehyung by his arm and tugged him towards himself "...He needs help with an event" Jimin continued.

"What event?" The girl and Taehyung both asked simultaneously. "He wants to ask his girlfriend 'will you marry me?'" Jimin lowered his tone at the question, making it sound hot and as if he was actually the one proposing right at that moment. Flower girl looked at Taehyung. Taehyung nodded with puppy eyes.

"Can you help me with that?" Taehyung asked desperately. "When is it?" She asked.

"After two weeks, Saturday," Taehyung answered. Flower girl checked through her schedule on her phone and discussed it with the other girl. "Okay. Shall we discuss this tomorrow at 3?" Flower girl asked.

"Yeah sure," Taehyung smiled. There was obvious relief on his face, all his tension was gone.

"Here's my card. Mail me the names of the couple and other information. If there are any preferences on how you want the proposal to be, add that too" Flower girl gave them her card.

"Okay. Thank you. See you tomorrow at this cafe?" Jimin took the card before Taehyung, hoping she'd agree to meet.

"Yeah" Flower girl nodded and went back to the current job at hand.

Both Jimin and Taehyung went back in the car. Jimin looked at the card, "Just as I thought" Jimin smiled victoriously.

"What? Who is she? How did you know she can help?" Taehyung asked, taking the card from his hand.

Choi Hana, Event Planner it read.

"Do you know her?" Taehyung asked, confused at his friend's behavior.

"Kind of," was all Jimin said. "Let's go. We have many things to do."

Next day, at cafe

Jimin and Taehyung met Hana as planned. Taehyung told her everything about how he wants it to happen. Hana suggested her ideas and Taehyung loved them. He was happy with her inputs.
