Sloane Hargreevespowerfully struts her way through the International Airport. Shemerrily greets everyone she passes. They all give her a wide berth. For they all knew her and her powerful name.

Her family was well ontheir way to owning the whole world.

Sloane had just conqueredParis, France for her father.

Sloane exits the airportand slides into a sleek black limousine. "Take me to HargreevesIndustries."

"Right away, MissHargreeves." The driver quickly responds, starting the vehicleright away.

Sloane relaxes and leansback in her seat. She watches as the city flows by her. She suddenlywonders about her old college friend, Kiera Moore. They had bothgraduated at the top of their class and then she fell off the face ofthe earth, leaving no trace behind. Not even her father could findthe girl. It was like she didn't want to be found/

Sloane is pulled from herthoughts when the vehicle slows to a stop in front of her father'sbuilding.

"We are here, MissHargreeves." The driver announces.

"Yes, I can see that."Sloane tells the man in a condescending tone. Her door is thenopened.

"Tell Daddy I need a newdriver. The current one is too stupid." She tells the attendant whoopened her door.

"But, we just hiredhim." The man speaks back.

Sloane gives the man acold look which has him cowering a little. "I said I want a newone." She slips her black sunglasses onto her face and looks at thecowering man. "Maybe I should also ask for a new attendant aswell?"

The man's eyes get big atSloane's suggestion and stutters out, "Uh, no. I will see aboutgetting you a new driver."

Sloane gives the man ashark grin. "Wonderful." She then struts into the building.

The second Sloane stepsinto the building, she is approached by two young girls. One of themhands her a cup of coffee. The other one hands her a folder that hasall the tasks her father has for her to do. She takes a sip of hercoffee and grimaces at the taste. She glares at the girl who handedit to her. "Get out of my fucking sight." She tosses the cup backto the girl, which spills all over the front of the woman's dress. She doesn't give the girl another backward glance.

Sloane walks up the glassstaircase all the way up to the second floor where the elevators werelocated. She prided in herself that everyone was watching her. Thiswas what power felt like and it was her favorite drug.

She takes the elevator allthe way up to the top floor of the building that housed her and herfather's office. She steps out and is immediately greeted by hermother, Abigail Hargreeves.

"Darling." Her mothergreets her, pulling her into a perfume-filled hug.
