*2 weeks later*

it's been 2 weeks since me and hyunjin have had a decent conversation, we say hi and bye but not full on conversations, was i exaggerating about the field trip? i mean he didn't even notice i was there so i can't be wrong for being mad

"sooms are you ok?" felix asked as i was just playing with my food

"mhm" i said not looking up

"i noticed that you and hyunjin haven't talked to eachother for a while, is everything ok?" chan asked

"yeah everything's fine" i said giving them a soft smile

"sooms, we both know when you're lying, and plus we haven't seen you this sad in so long, what's wrong?" felix asked leaning forwards on the table

"i- ugh we went to a field trip for art 2 weeks ago and there was also a new girl that came that day as well, he asked if he can sit with her and i said yeah because why not but when we were there he was not hanging out with me at all, lowkey acted like i wasn't here and was just the new student, it sucked ass because i was so excited for that field trip and to go with hyunjin cuz it was going to be our first time there, i don't know i guess i just got sad and mad and we haven't talked since" i said not taking my eyes off the food in front of me

"are you talking about jiwon?" chan asked as i looked at him

"yeah her, how do you know her?" i asked

"well first off, we always see them together and second of all he used to have the biggest crush on her before she moved, i guess he is feelings are still there" felix said and i stayed silent

"i get how your mad soomi but i think hyunjin still likes her probably why he wanted to be with her,you guys are like best friends you should get why he was like that" chan said

"mm, do you know where he is?" i asked

"probably at the dance studio you should check there" felix said and i nodded and walked out the cafeteria and headed to the dance studio

why was i nervous? i mean i haven't talked to him since what happened so i don't even know what to say

as i got there i knocked on the door and after a couple of seconds a sweaty hyunjin opened the door "soomi? what are you doing here?" he asked out of breath

"i- uhm can i come in?" i asked and he moved out of the way so i can come in

"whay brings you here?" he asked again as he closed the door

"i wanted to apologize, about you know getting mad at you, chan and felix told me that you used to like her before she moved and said you still have feelings for her" i said looking at the ground and he chuckled

"soomi it's fine, i should be the one apologizing actually, i left you alone the whole time and i feel so bad" he said and i looked up at him

"don't be, i forgive you, so hace you asked her to be your girlfriend?" i said smirking at him changing the topic

"no actually, and i don't plan on doing it soon" he shrugged

"what why?" i asked

"because i'm too busy for a relationship, and besides i lowkey just see her as a friend now" he chuckled

"mm, she's pretty to be honest i thought you guys would be dating already" i chuckled

"no, anyways how was your lunch?" he asked grabbing his water

"eh, i didn't really eat anything i was too busy daydreaming" i said sitting down

"about me?" he said and i scoffed

"you wish" i laughed "what dance are you doing now?"

"i don't know i'm just doing freestyle cuz i have no idea" he sighed and i got up

"i love freestlying, it's my thing" i said as i stretched

"oh really?" he said and i nodded

"watch and learn hyunjin watch and learn" i said as i started the music and started freeslying(a.n: first video on top is her dancing)

after i finished i looked over at hyunjin and his jaw was dropped "what?" i said

"sooms that was amazing better than all my freestyles" he said smiling

"thanks" i said tucking a strain of hair behind my ear

"come on let's dance" he said as he started the music and grabbed my hand and twirled me around and put my arm around my waist

"slow song?" i chuckled

"can i tell you something?" he asked ignoring what i said

"yeah of course" i said as we moved to the beat of the song and making eye contact

"what would you do if you like someone but was to afraid to tell them?" he asked softly

"i don't know i've never really liked anyone before, i haven't even had my first kiss before" i chuckled

"but like what if you are super close to that person, and scared to ruin the friendship" he asked

"hyunjin, i really wish i can help you but i don't even know the feeling of having a crush on someone" i tilted my head a bit "but aye tell that person or you'll regret it"

"yeah i think i'll just keep it a secret" he said going over and turning off the music "we should probably get going" he said picking up his stuff

"oh my god we've been here for an hour hyunjin we basically been here for a whole period" i said as i grabbed my backpack

"and we only have one more left, why don't we just ditch it and go out to eat" he asked

"my mom would kill me" i chuckled

"come on it's one in a life time sooms" he said as he begged

"you beg a lot and i hate how it convinces me" i groaned "fine we can go"

"yayaya let's go" he said grabbing my wrist and walked out of the school and got into his car

"where are we going to go anyways" i asked

"the ramen place?" he said and i nodded my head

"i love that place" i smiled

"i know" he said and starred to drive

once we got there we sat at our usual spot, me and hyunjin have came here a couple of times after after we found it and we always sit here, all the workers know us and we know all of them like that's how many times we have been here

"hello what can i get for you guys?" the waiter asked

"are you new here? i've never seen you here before" hyunjin said and the waiter nodded

"i just started last week" he smiled

"well hello we are regulars and we come here on a daily basis, i'm hyunjin and she's soomi" he said smiling at the waiter

"it's not to meet you guys, are you guys dating?" the waiter asked

"uhm, no no we're not" hyunjin said

"awh, you guys would look cute together" he said and i just let out a nervous chuckle

"can we order?" hyunjin said changing the subject

"yeah yeah" he said and we ordered

"why do people always think we're dating?" i asked

"don't know" he shrugged
