we were at school and i couldn't help but notice jiwon not being in school since they broke up. is this my fault? i feel so bad i literally caused their break up

"whatcha thinking about?" hyunjin said sitting down beside me

"hm? oh nothing" i chuckled "hey look" i said pointing at chan "i'm guessing they're finally dating?" i asked

"not yet, he said he wanted to wait for a while before he asked which i find stupid" he shrugged

"hey is this seat taken?" a brown haired guy asked looking at us, he lowkey reminds me of a puppy

"no no go ahead sit" i smiled "i'm soomi" i said giving him a warm smile

"i'm seungmin, kim seungmin" he said bowing a bit

"this is hyunjin my-" before i could finish my sentence hyunjin spoke

"boyfriend, i'm her boyfriend" he said looking at him

"nice to meet you" seungmin said to both of us

"so are you knew here?" i asked and he nodded

"i recently just moved like a week ago" he said taking a bit from his food

"oh that's nice, are you a senior?" i asked and he shook his head 'no'

"i'm a junior" he said and i kept on asking him questions

"leave the poor man alone he's trying to eat" hyunjin said to me

"no it's alright i don't mind it" seungmin said letting out a chuckle

"don't mind hyunjin he's mean most of the times" i said and hyunjin gasped

"am not, i'm the nicest person ever" he said offended

i ended up talking to seungmin until lunch ended, it was nice to talk to an unfamiliar face, but he really does remind me of a puppy for some reason

"who was that guy you guys were talking to at lunch?" chan asked as we all walked out the building

"that was kim seungmin, soomi's new friend" hyunjin said annoyed

"he's super sweet, he's a junior and he literally reminds me of a puppy it's not even funny" i said ignoring hyunjin because i just knew he was jealous

"did you get he number?" chan asked and i nodded

"YOU DID?" hyunjin said looking down at me

"no need to scream, and yes why wouldn't i" i said

"because i'm the only person you should focus on not some junior" hyunjin said making me shocked

"are you jealous right now?" i chuckled

"what? no. come on" he said dragging me by my hand to his car

"you're jealous" i smirked and he didn't say anything and started driving "can't believe you're jealous of some junior" i said teasing him "why would you though? we're not together" i said "i wonder if he has a girlfriend he's kind of cute" i said making him press the breaks "hey what- you almost made me hit my head"

"you're doing this on purpose" he said starting at me

"hyunjin you're in the middle of the road park somewhere" i said but he didn't move an inch but instead moved closer to me making my eyes widen "wh-what are you doing"

"i'm not moving until you agree to be my girlfriend" he said not breaking the eye contact

"hyunjin there's cars literally honking move" i said

"i will once you say yes" he said with his voice going deep

"fine ok i'll be your girlfriend go now!" i said and he smiled as he started driving "i hate you"

"please, you can live without me" he chuckled and drove to his house

he's not wrong

"we passed your house" i said looking out the window

"we did? oh well" he said as he continued driving

"where are we going?" i asked but he didn't respond, he just kept driving and there was nothing i could really do about it

30 minutes have passed by and we parked in a parking place in front of a carnival and i gasped

"what are we doing here?" i asked looking at him

"we're here to have fun duh" he said getting out the car and i followed

"i dont have money for this let's go before i want to buy like everything" i said looking around while walking

"who said you're paying?" he said coming back with tickets in his hands

"hyunjin- carnivales are fucking expensive" i said and he shrugged

"i don't mind wasting my money on you" he said intertwining our hands together and started walking

"lord have mercy my inner child is so happy right now" i said smiling while looking around

"what do you want to do first?" he asked looking at me

" ferris wheel ferris wheel" i said jumping up and down like a kid and he chuckled

we walked towards the ferris wheel still hand and hand and waited in line "what if we stopped on top and saw the sunset, that would be so pretty" i said

"mm, hopefully we do then" he said looking at me

"do you have staring problems because all you do is stare at me" i said looking at him

"i only have a starring problem when i find something beautiful" he said not looking away from me and i blushed

"stop" i said looking away and he chuckled

"you're cute" he said and the line started moving and it was finally our turn

i got on while hyunjin went to go talk to the ride operator and saw him nod making hyunjin come back and sat next to me "what was that about?" i asked

"nothing don't worry about it" he said giving me a smile and the ride started

it was quiet the whole time, but not an awkward quiet a comfortable quiet, i was feeling the breeze as we were on the ride and looking at the view when the ride started to slow down more and more, when we reached the top

"YAY WERE ON THE TOP" i said looking at hyunjin was was already looking at me "what?"

"i told you, i look at things that are beautiful to me" he said and i tucked a peace of my hair behind my ear

"look the sunset" i said changing the subject and looked that the view "pretty" i smiled

"very" he said and i looked at him

"you're not even looking at it how do you
know it's pretty?" i asked

"my views better" he said as we made eye contact "i love you" he said and my eyes widen

"w-what?" did he just say what i think he did?

"i love you" he repeated

"me? you? love me?" i said confused and he nodded

"whenever i think of art i think of something that means a lot to me, something beautiful and something i cant stop thinking about, you're my peace of art sooms" he said as i was silent "and i wouldn't want anyone else to be my perfect art"

"you're my peace of art too hyunjin" i smiled and the ferris wheel started moving again scaring me

that just ruined everything but HYUNJIN LOVES ME?
