"soomi, soomi!" the teacher said as i looked up "pat attention" he said and i nodded

we're in art class right now, which means i'm sitting next to hyunjin and he doesn't remember one thing about last night, oh yeah i called chan to come pick him up so he doesn't even know he went to my house

"are you ok?" hyunjin asked and i looked at him and nodded "is something bothering you?"

"no" i said looking back at my painting

"ok class, we have a group work to do today, you will be working with your partner, please start the moment i hand you the paper" the teacher walked around handing out a paper with institutions and i read through it

"can i see it" hyunjin asked and i handed it to him "mm, we have to make something 3d? isn't this class about drawing and not making stuff 3d or something?" hyunjin asked as he looked at the teacher

"3d are art hyunjin, and i expect everyone to do it because it is 40% of your grade, it's due in 1 weeks, better start now" he said and everyone groaned

"1 weeks? is that even enough time?" i sighed

"we got it" hyunjin said giving me a soft smile

god why is he so cute, wait no soomi no you're mad at him don't say that

"so what are we going to do?" he asked

"i don't know, i mean it's kind of like drawing? but make it like, trippy?" i said and he nodded

"still though i've never done anything like that" he sighed

"well it's a first for everything" i said as i took out my phone and searched up ideas

"wanna work on it at my house?" he asked and i shrugged

"i guess i don't know" i said not making eye contact

"hyunjin!" i heard someone say and i looked up and it was jiwon, i rolled my eyes and went back to looking for ideas

"hey babe" hyunjin said hugging her

"hi soomi" she said smiling at me

"hi?" i said confused

"wanna switch partners? i wanna be with hyunjin" she asked

"su-" i was about to say sure until hyunjin cut me off

"we can't switch jiwon its partners, besides i already asked" hyunjin said and she pouted

"ok then take care of him k?" she said to me
and walked away

"you never asked what do you mean" i asked him

"i know but i don't want to switch, wanna start?" he said changing the subject

"yeah i found this" i said showing him my phone "it's nothing too hard and nothing too easy, it's like perfect" i smiled

"you're prefect" he mumbled but i could hear it

i acted like i heard nothing and got a piece of paper "should we start?" i asked

we were about to start the sketching when the bell rang "ah, we'll finish this at my house?" he asked and i nodded "great"

"hey chan where'd hyunjin?" i asked as i closed my locker

"dance studio? why?" he said

"we have a project to do and we're supposed to do it, but thanks" i headed towards the dance studio and heard music coming from the other side

i opened the door and saw hyunjin dancing, i leaned on the door frame and just watched him, i miss seeing him dance, i miss doing everything with him, why did he have to get a girlfriend when i was right here?

"soomi?" i heard my name being called and i looked up and saw hyunjin looking at me

"oh hey" i said

"sorry i got ahead of myself, ready to go?" he asked packing up his stuff and i nodded

we headed to his car and he drove to his house, the drive there was quiet, but a comfortable quiet

once we arrived at his house i said hi to chan and felix and we headed up to his room

"KKAMI" i said kneeling down and petting him

"yah leave him alone we need to do this" hyunjin said sitting on his bed

"relax we have 1 week to do it" i said getting up and sitting down

"i don't like go wait last minute to do anything" he said as he took out what we needed "also jiwon is coming over right now is that fine?"

"why? doesn't she have her own project to do?" i asked as i held kkami

"yeah but she wouldn't stop bragging about how she wanted to come" he sighed

"only if she doesn't bother us while we're working i don't care" i said and he nodded

"good because she's already here" he got up and went to go get her

"what does he see in her kkami?" i said looking at kkami and he's just confused

they came back and me and hyunjin finally started working on our project

"hyunjin i miss you come here" jiwon said as she was laying on his bed

"i cant i'm working" he said not looking away from the paper

"please just for a minute and you can go back" she said and he sighed

"fine" he got up and i looked at him

"seriously?" i asked

"i'll be back" he got on the bed and jiwon hugged him from the back

"i missed you" she said kissing his cheek

gross.

"i haven't gone anywhere" he said

"can we go eat? i'm starving" she said playing with his hair

i'm going to vomit.

"jiwon we're trying to work can't you go with some friends or something?" he said turning around to face her

"i want to go with you though" she pouted

"but- fine but we're bring the food over here we need to finish" he said and she nodded

i looked up and gave him a 'you serious right now?' look

"i'll be back i promise, you can continue working on it and i'll be back" he gave me a soft smile and they both left
