      Austin's pov

I sit up, Stella's arms draped around my neck. A yawn managed to escape my mouth. The soft sound of birds chirping came from outside. I stay in my position for a while, soaking in her presence. I hesitate to get up but eventually do after hearing a soft rumble coming from my stomach. I open the curtains to see a dewy morning, the sun making everything look glistening from the rain last night.

The kitchen glows from the sunlight, making the need for artificial light not existent. I grab a carton of eggs and waffle mix from the pantry, then reach into the cupboard and grab the waffle maker. I put a pan on top of the stove, crack an egg and listen to the sweet sound of the sizzle. The smell filled every corner of the house. I grab my phone to connect to the speakers and turn on a playlist of my favorite Elvis songs. In these past few months, I've slowly become a sucker for him. All of his songs, and the way he beautifully sings them. If you're looking for trouble he sings. I hum softly to the sound of the song. I hear the soft pitter-patter of footsteps gaining behind me. I don't check where the sound comes from, but if I'm a wise guy, it's Stella. I feel hands wrap around my waist and a soft sway starts to form. I feel her head rest on my shoulder, and hum to the song with me. "Good morning Austin." I hear her soft morning voice say. "How do you feel? tired still?" She hums in response. "Coffee?" I earn another hum from her. I kiss the top of her forehead. "okay." I respond. I hear the squeak of the island chair being pulled out from under the counter. I put a pod inside of the coffee maker and put a mug under the spout. The sound of the. brewing coffee and the eggs sizzling sounded like childhood. and now I can only dream of my mom making me food one more time. "I can start the waffles if you want." I hear stella suggest. I nod at her helpfulness. "Austin." I hear her start. "Thank you. For everything." She says. I look back at her and smile. "Thank you," I say. we spend the next few minutes in comfortable silence, with the occasional humming coming from each other. I felt like I could have been dreaming, but it was all true. She was mine. And it felt good. "The waffles are done." She says as I slip the eggs onto a plate. I nod in response. I grab her coffee, and her plate as she sits down. "Thank you." She states, a mouth full of food. I grin at her, "My pleasure Miss Bloom." I respond. "No problemo Mr butler." "Is that even a word?" I ask. "Now it is." She winks. I roll my eyes at her statement. Not the best logic, but it happens to the best of us I guess.

I scrub the syrup off of the sticky dishes, wiping them clean. "Couldn't have asked for a better boyfriend." I hear a voice from behind me say. there it is. she said it. "Boyfriend?" "Yep. That's what you are, aren't you?" She questions. "Exactly. I just wanted to hear you say it." I say, smirking. She exits the room quietly, I assume to get her own clothes on. Suddenly I feel excited to film with her.
