Third Person Pov

"Why won't you ever love me back, hyung?" Jungkook asks in the soft voice ever. The question was a solid one which Namjoon didn't know the answer to. Was he even supposed to answer that question that time? Hell, he didn't even know what he'd reply to the younger.
Namjoon and Jungkook were childhood friends. Jungkook was 1 year, 11 days younger than him. Jungkook always was the one closest to Namjoon's heart.
He was there for Namjoon whenever he'll need a hug of comfort, he was there whenever he'll go through his bad days, he was there when he came out of the closet to his family, he was there on Namjoon's first breakup too. During every path of life, Jungkook has always been with Namjoon. And the older needed him to.His Jungkookie was precious to him.
So it hurt him, when he couldn't answer Jungkook's question."Kook-ah, let's go home" Namjoon steps out to reach the younger but Jungkook jumps back, getting out of reach. He knows the older will try to trick him into getting home together and his mood will again fix. Just like the other times. But no, today wasn't going to be like other times. Jungkook was gonna have his answer with him today. There's no going back or forgetting now.
"Hyung, please I-I want to know.." he asked once more, hoping he'd get a reply this time.
"Jungkook, it's storming. Let's go home, yeah? You'll catch a cold, bun" Namjoon looked at the younger, letting his hand out.
"No.. not this time, hyung" Jungkook said, finally looking into the older's eyes with his tear filled ones. Tears ran from his cheeks as he tried to hold himself. It was obvious his hyung wasn't so sure of his relationship with Jungkook. It explains why Namjoon didn't have an answer to his question. Jungkook wouldn't be this much hurt if Namjoon straight up rejected him, but Namjoon stayed silent which made Jungkook more sad. It's as if Namjoon didn't know his feelings for Jungkook. So many years with him and he still didn't know what Jungkook meant to him? Jungkook had so many questions but he knew Namjoon wouldn't answer them. It was better to stay silent
"Kook-" before Namjoon could say anything Jungkook turned his back towards the older, stepping away from him. Namjoon's breath hitched, he couldn't get words out of his mouth to stop the other. He saw the younger fading away in the snow and dark mist of a stormy night. It was the last time he ever saw the younger.
___________________7 years, it has been seven years since Jungkook left. Ever since then, it's as if Namjoon's entire life changed. It was like an uncalled storm no one knew about. Thinking about Jungkook all the time, his daily schedule was ruining. He barely ate anything which resulted to him getting extremely skinny and pale. His grades dropped, he barely got out of his room.
It was like the sunshine from his life was taken away.He tried, he tried so many ways to find the younger. To go to him and say sorry, hug him, love him, give him his answers and what not. But Namjoon couldn't, he couldn't find the younger.
At last he had to live with the idea that Jungkook left Korea and probably flew off to some other country. Far away from Namjoon, as Namjoon recalled.
___________________Present Time
"Is he awake yet?" Namjoon asked the young lady sheepishly as he entered the hall.
"He is, the humidity's pretty warm today might I warn you. He's stressed about some things so might get a little more mad at you " the lady, Mira replied.
"Oh? What happened? Am I missing on something?"
Namjoon didn't wanted to know the things he weren't supposed to but his curiosity got the best of him and he asked. He knows he'll regret it somehow but hey it's not like he doesn't regret things in his life.
